Excellent. This is a small nurturing community with high academic standards. It’s known as ‘the family boarding school’

Having a family that has been intertwined in Hill culture for over 10 years, the experience is one that continues even after everyone in the family has graduated. The faculty, staff and surrounding community created an experience of higher learning like no other with memories that will last a life time. The diversity of the community made for a learning environment that is difficult to replicate.

Great decision to send our daughter here, the non pretentious atmosphere of this great institution makes The Hill truly a Family School . Academics, arts, social events, nurturing environment, school enthusiasm and personal attention afforded by the word class staff make this a true hidden gem among the top boarding schools. Their ambitious new headmaster is building upon solid foundation to make this a top choice among US boarding schools.

I attended The Hill School graduating in 1989, returned to the school post-college to work in the Alumni Office for seven years, and now serve as Preident of the Alumni Executive Committee. I have chosen to stay deeply involved in The Hill School me based on my extremely positive educational experience as a student and the institiution's ongoing commitment to educating students in a formal and loving atmoshpere. The institution originally described itself as the "family boading school"-- this remains true today, with the faculty and staff members living in the dorms, coaching, teaching, and sharing every type of experience. Faculty members are experts in their respective fields, but are so much more than classroom educators. I encourage you to visit The Hill and see for yourself. Best regards, Hans
