We absolutely love our neighborhood school. Before our kids attended we did have some concerns due to state test scores and we almost allowed that to influence having our kids here but we decided that we would try first. We are so glad we did, our two children have been fulfilled in their learning, with their peers, and their teachers and school staff. One of my children has needed extra time to mature and manage their emotional responses but the school has provided many resources and has been very responsive with any of our concerns while keeping us well engaged. The school has provided small group sessions to support our child, lots of one on one time, and even offered up resources outside the school. We are happy that we have a school that cares so much about our children’s needs to succeed.Academically both of my children are challenged and the school does a good job of providing leveling instruction based on ability so that children who are more ahead in their academics are still challenged.

This is such a sweet gem of a school. My two students have grown and thrived so much. The staff know the kids well, and there is a great sense of community.

There is a great sense of parent and teacher community and involvement. This school is small so it feels like I know all the staff and parents. Greeting everyone at breakfast feels great. My kindergartener is learning so quickly.

We have loved being at Lee. My daughter has had such an amazing educational experience here with great teachers and a wonderful community of learners. As a parent, I’ve felt welcome and engaged. My preschooler can’t wait to be in kindergarten here and everyone is so welcoming to her too. As a family, we’ve been so happy with Lee being our neighborhood school!

Teachers and school staff reached out to us to help provide special education resources for our incoming kindergartener. Also a super engaged community and PTA. Plans for revamped playground within 5+ years, and also a name change next year.

We love Jason Lee Elementary. My son is in 1st grade and is very enthusiastic about school. So much so that he dressed up as the mascot for Halloween. The admin here are incredibly supportive to the community. They work with teachers and students to create a holistic and happy environment. We have high quality teachers and support, and a very active PTA.We’re so happy to be a part of this school!

I feel so privileged to live in the Jason Lee Elementary School district. This community is involved in a way that I no longer thought existed. Many of us walk, scoot, and ride bikes to school on a daily basis. The principal and staff greet us at the door by name and always make sure we feel welcome. The anti-bullying curriculum is well loved by the children and it really is a “no place for hate” school.

We have had three kids go through Lee Elementary School, all of them have had a great experience. The teachers are all very passionate and involved, we’ve felt very supported at all levels including one child with an IEP. There is also a very good PTA that meets regularly and has a lot of stuff going on.
