    We love this school! I have a first and a third grader, and both girls have made wonderful friends, have grown academically and socially, and have had the best teachers.

    Ventura Park is well organized, has a strong anti-bullying policy, and positive behavior-based instruction. The diversity of students in the school is impressive. Jacob Curtis has been the principal since my son started kindergarten and has done a great job all 5 years. Plus, David Douglas School District still funds an off-site Talented and Gifted program for their students which has been a source of love and excitement for my son since 2nd grade. Very happy with this school!

    This school is wonderul! I t has improved a great deal in the last several years. It was fine when our oldest went there, but now there is so much community involvement and the teachers are amazing. They take the time to really understand each child and meet them where they are. The school has a garden and two playgrounds and soccer fields and basketball courts, and we are just very pleased with everything. We've seen the caliber of education really skyrocket here.
