I have two children attending this school; one in the SPED program of ECSE and another child in the general education side and she’s in 1st grade. My youngest child who is in the SPED program at Valley Ranch has had only one incident at the school and it was taken care of so quickly that in a flash the incident was documented, tended to, and resolved! My older child in the 1st grade is absolutely in love with her teacher and classmates! She has been itching to go to school with her brother and now that it’s finally come she has had nothing but an amazing experience. We brought her in from a private school, which she loved but she wanted to be with her brother more. We are very happy with this school and we live and adore all the staff in the front office as well as the teachers!

Absolutely terrible. The principal basically told me that because my daughter was sick a lot due to having an auto immune disorder, they wouldn't make any money off of her so they didn't want to accommodate her. I had to fight for a meeting to attempt to get her a 504 and they insisted she did not qualify for that either because in their "experience" with their nephew, children with PMFX do not get sick often therefore her medical diagnosis did not fit their criteria. Her ARD meeting went awful, they basically said my daughter needed no interventions and needed no assistance yet, her teacher was always having issues with her and always sending her to the office. I can go on. They handle special needs students awful, even the special needs teacher told me to stay on top of them because their ARD team is lazy and don't like to inconvenience themselves with all the paperwork and will write off students who need assistance as neurotypical or needing no help.

We love this school. Our kids have been there from Kinder to 4th and 2nd so far. The teachers are wonderful, caring, available and the counselor is too. They are fair and really seem to do their best to make school fun and safe.

My daughter has been going to this school since kindergarten, and is now in the third grade. This school is absolutely amazing! The administration and staff all care about the kids. They are in education because they live it and it shows. My daughter and I had went through some issues with my ex and the counselor did miracles with my daughter to help her pull through it. This school is what every other school should strive to be like!
