I’m writing this review as a concerned parent based on our recent experience with Morningside Academy. Our son has been a student here for several years, and while he initially had a positive experience, recent events have made us question the school’s values and professionalism.Without any clear explanation or valid reason, our son, who is in fourth grade, was dismissed from the academy. This came after we raised concerns about a related preschool in the same network that failed to provide adequate support for our younger child, who has special needs. We are deeply disappointed that, rather than addressing our concerns, the academy chose to take retaliatory action against our son, who had been thriving academically and socially at the school. This sudden dismissal has not only caused confusion and emotional distress for our child but also undermined the trust we once had in the institution. As parents, we expect schools to prioritize the well-being and education of children, not penalize them for issues unrelated to their behavior or performance. We are heartbroken by how this situation was handled, especially after years of our child’s attendance at Morningside Academy. If you are considering this school, I would strongly recommend having open conversations with the administration about how they handle concerns, as our experience has shown a lack of transparency and fairness. This has been a difficult and emotional time for our family, and we feel that no child should be treated this way by a school that claims to prioritize their students' education and development.

most of these reviews are true regarding this school. we put our child in Morningside. This is a horrible school. The principal is two-faced and shows favoritism. The school focuses on what they "stand for" and not each child. If the child doesn't conform to Biblical believes, he/she will be kicked out of the school. I do not have anything to say positive about this school. They are far from a CHRISTIAN school and CHRISTIAN beliefs. What a horrible choice of schools for our children.

HORRIBLE experience at this school!! We thought because it was a Christian based School it would be a more loving and nurturing environment but the staff is rude and the director is pretentious. We are so disappointed! THEY love to take your money!!!!

we spent 1 year of our child in high school and left. prior to spendingover $7000 /year we were told that the average class size was 20 in a class.thereafter we experience 30 to a class: math/english. i personally satin on a class that my child complained was out of control and spent 45 minutes utterly shocked that the teacher stood up in class "talking" whileno on (except 5 out of the 30 kids) respected listening to her. Meanwhileshe acted like it was ok and normal and just let the kids do whatever theywanted while she takes. Meanwhile most of the kids talked outloud over heramongst themselves....i was so made, i told 3 girls next to me (while i observed) to sit up, listen to their teacher and stop being disrespectful!!)no one cared. I had told the faculty all of this 6 months prior...the principal...which left the school at the end of the year.....ended up teaching one of the classes that was out of control. I do like the Abeka program however, don't agree with their narrow minded teaching. better to find thehomeschool group.....SALT in Jensen beach or move out of Florida

I am overall pleased with the education my child is, and has been, receiving at Morningside Academy. The A Beka curriculum is top notch in Christian education. The Fine Arts program for choir and orchestra is by far one of the best in the state (MULTIPLE awards). Most of the sports programs are available starting with 5th grade, which makes it nice for the younger ones to grasp the concepts prior to playing at the varsity levels. What we like the most is the low teacher to student ratio. It is nice to know that my child can actually build relationships with the teachers and other students and not be lost in the crowd. I do know that there may be other schools in the area that may be more affordable, or have the latest "bells and whistles", but from what I can see as a parent, the school is doing its best at being up to date with the times, and they attempt to do it without hitting the parents with high fees and tuition rates.

Our older son attended this school several years past and we were very happy during our years there. Our now, teenage son continues to be successful and we are very grateful for the unparalleled foundation he received at the lower school. After trying the public school system for our younger daughter, we made the decision to send our daughter to Morningside Academy also. The difference is AMAZING. The education is superior, the atmosphere is loving and nurturing and the family participation is incredible.

We couldn't be more pleased with a school. My children have attended for seven years, and while no school is perfect, Morningside Academy has done an excellent job partnering with us to help develop and grow our children into well-educated, well-disciplined, well-rounded students. We love the other families there, my kids have great friends. We truly believe that this has been a great educational choice for our family!

I couldn't be more pleased with the high level of academics and standards at Morningside's Upper School! They have Palm Beach Atlantic courses on campus, standard in their curriculum, varsity athletics, and they're in the process of building a brand new gymnasium! I couldn't be more thankful for such a safe environment, and well qualified and caring teachers, who do a phenomenal job with our children!
