The teachers condone bullying, and the administration is a joke. They do not try to work with children but rather threaten to suspend and expel them if they are not placed on medication. Teachers there only know how to teach zombies! Children are not allowed to be kids, talk at lunch, and the school is run like a prison. Send your children anywhere but here!

My daughter attended Perrin in 2010-11 for kindergarten. She hated it!The class was always out of control and her teacher always seemed frazzled and just didn't care much about the students in general .My daughter never wanted to go, I was so glad when she moved up to Tucker, which is a MUCH better school! I have always felt bad that she didn't get the kindergarten experience she deserved, and I hope it has improved since!

Funny how earlier this yr I posted a review about the amt of children being put on adhd meds. Holy cow it's not on here anymore Imagine that ! There were 65 children SUPPOSEDLY diagnosed with adhd in Perrin in 1 yr . THAT CAME STRAIGHT out of principals mouth. The school has been bullying the parents into giving the children adhd meds or not returning back to school ! With a local Dr. writing out the med scripts . Funny how you can say something and name a staff member IF it's sugar sweet . But when you speak the truth Oh well it's a whole nother story . Main line is this DON"T LET THEM BULLY YOU INTO ADHD MEDS. Chances are there is nothing wrong with your child it's the school . After all if an adult can not handle a 4 or 5 yr old then it's not the childs fault it's the adults . Spoken from a concerned grandparent !

I am withdrawing my child as soon as I find a school district that actually teaches their children instead of ignoring them. Orientation was a joke.... And seperating the boys from the girls is just ridiculous... I Would suggest homeschooling or shelling out the money for Private schools. The teachers in this school only care about themselves and not the children

My daughter just made 6 years old. She loved pre-k in Walker. Her kindergarten teacher sends her home everyday in tears. My daughter actually wants to Quit school, its a nightmare getting her on the bus every morning. We need cameras in our classrooms.

I attended the open house at Perrin in August 2011 for my grandson expecting a wonderful experience, I was extremely disappointed in the professional manner or lack there of concerning the first grade teacher. She with full intent, humiliated a little girl when she announced to the entire room that this little girl was the Only little girl in the entire class that had received a yellow slip that day and that she (the little girl) took the longest to write her name. A young man, presumably her father asked what the yellow slip meant and the teacher replied humming. "Your daughter hums!" Before the young man could speak the teacher curtly walked away. The little girl left in tears with her father.....It broke my heart. We are having my grandson removed from this school.
