This school is the worst school I have ever seen. The teachers are very rude and disrespectful to the children. They allow other children to curse in the class. They talk bad about a child's parent in front of the students when parents send notes. The feedback is only negative if you get any at all. There is little to no way to know what they are learning in school. Homework assignments are scatrered. The children feel as if they can't even ask a simple questions without the staff being rude or getting angry. They add unessessary restrictions on dress code outside of parish dress code rules. The office staff in particular the short lady is beyond rude to the parents and students alike. The rules are extremely strict. And they still have horrible test scores. The environment is more like a military school rather than a public school. We came from Walker schools before which were EXCELLENT! My daughter makes good grades and never gets in trouble. So this is NOT from a butthurt parent with a misbehaved kid. This school is a joke and needs an overhaul of much of the staff. We are moving out of the parish after this year. Thank God. I feel sorry for anyone who has to deal with this school.

D.C. Reeves is a place where students have the opportunity to become lifelong learners and productive citizens. Learning takes teamwork. Join the team, play hard, and finish strong! No excuses.
