Marshall middle school, home of the mustangs, was my home, and forever will be in my heart. Considering I'm a student currently over there I've won the district spelling bee with the help, and motivation of my teachers. The Marshall community over there is very supportive, the PE teachers, principal, staff, and everyone there is great, I couldn't ask for a more happier life than I already have there at Marshall middle school!

UHS consistently ranks among the best public high schools in PA and, after graduating, I can attest this is not in error. UHS has a number of aspects that help to gain its favor, including an outstanding staff of highly motivated teachers, a dedicated and intelligent student body, and overwhelming community support. The school is currently under construction that will forever enhance the landscape of the facility and broaden the scope of academic achievement. Like every school however, there are aspects needing improvement. The current US education system allows for some underperforming teachers to slow educational development in students and, in that regard, UHS is no exception. In addition, students are held to a standard of collegiate performance, which has its downfalls. Admission into top colleges is increasingly selective and any boast in GPA can make the difference between not only acceptance but also scholarship money. Once in college, it is apparent that a 4.0gpa in one school is not equal to a 4.0 at another. The level of difficultly at UHS makes getting into top colleges more challenging while simultaneously making college easier once a student arrives there.
