I am an alumna and couldn't have made a better decision for my education than attending PCCS. PCCS provides innovative, experiential and challenging curriculum to a diverse student body. In a small community with few resources and great need, they provide educational choice and equity. They have done an exceptional job working with the school district and local district schools, positioning themselves as partners, not competitors.

I am a proud parent of a senior class student who began his schooling at PCCS, and now my nine and seven year old children attend there and I have always loved the way it is a community minded school. Having parent involvement is very important to our kids and staff. This school is my family, thanks PCCS!

I am a parent of a kindergarden student. She is loving her classroom experience with Ms Wilhoit. The class is small and very personable. The school provides a supportive family atmosphere and a regular dialogue with families through meetings and newsletters. Volunteerism is encouraged and students have the opportunity to see that their families value their educational space, time and commitments. Through combined grade leveled groups my child gets to work with diverse ages as well as diverse cultures. I really appreciate this experience in her early formative days of public education.

Pacific Community Charter High School has been a godsend to our family. My husband and I are now raising our second teenage grandchild with the help of PCCHS. The class size is small and there is a real feeling of community among the teachers, students and other family members. . The Passages component allows each child to choose areas of study that interest them, teaches them about real life issues and gives them opportunities to explore career and life skills they might otherwise not get to study. There is also a real emphasis on the arts which is lacking in other public schools because of budget cuts.

I feel very fortunate that my child is attending PCCS. The environment is very family oriented and community minded. The children learn so much more than just what is required for the Common Core State Standards. There is a true sense of caring and helping each child learn in a way that appeals to their interests. The teachers and staff are incredible people who make everyone feel welcome and appreciated. This school is a "gift" to children who may not learn in a typical school environment driven by test scores.
