My children loved going to Washington! They loved their teachers and made many friends there. The school is small and diverse which I loved. The teachers, aides and office staff are always so nice and willing to help. If there was a problem, it was always handled quickly. I feel my children were well prepared for moving onto Middle School & beyond.

Washington is a great school! The staff truly cares for the students. Each staff member knows the children by name.

Washington Elementary has a staff that gets an A in my book ! Their goal is truly making sure that each child succeeds. Washington has great teachers that love their jobs and make themselves available to the parents. Title One teachers are available for children who need a little more one on one, and all teachers work well together for one common goal. I think Washington is a great school and I'm happy that my children get to be a part of it. Keep up the good work!!

I have nothing good to say about Washington Elementary. My daughter is currently in Kindergarten at this school. Well today when I was picking up my daughter I saw three little boys pushing her around and full fist punching her. I looked around to find an adult from the school to find them all congregating in front conversing. Not a single one was actually watching the kids. I decided to go inside and talk to her teacher about it. When I found her in the hallway she was talking to another teacher. I attempted to ask for her time and she blew me off with a filthy look and continued her conversation. This is not the first time I have witnessed this. Not just with my daughter, but other kids. These teachers are not watching our kids and allowing violence to occur. I will attempt to speak with the principal concerning this, but I have very low hopes of anything happening. I will probably just pull my daughter from this school because of the violence I see that they apparently refuse to acknowledge.
