The education at the school is outstanding. The kids are ahead of children at other schools, academically, both in math and English studies.

Highly recommend! My child offered to use his allowance to pay for his tuition and loves going to school. He won't need to give up his savings because most graduates get academic scholarships and complete high school with at least one if not two years of college credits!

Do not recommend. Stay clear. For your money you can find much better.

We moved from another country and I was afraid about my daughter's school adaptation, but she was very well received by the staff and new friends, we've just loved Yorktown and for the first time I can see her going happily to school. Students are friendly, teachers are amazing and my daughter can move forward at her own pace, she doesn't need to wait for the rest of class. I'm glad to see that she can help other students in their necessities and the students help her. She is at High School and already taking classes at Collin College. I strongly recommend Yorktown if your child likes challenges and is self-motivated.

This is our third year at Yorktown and we are so pleased. The experience by son is getting is second to none - education is tailored to level of ability; kids are made aware of the importance of respect, compassion and integrity; all staff members are approach at all time - very open and understanding. We're so happy our son is going to this school.

My high school student thoroughly loves Yorktown and we are very pleased with her progress especially compared to her public school experience. Highly recommend Yorktown and suggest you strongly consider it if you want your kids to do what they love!!! This is a great school for diversity and core values of respect for others.

I have two children at this school . This is our first year at Yorktown . In the past they have been to other private schools as also public school. Last year my children were in public school , we decided we wanted to return to private school . I researched all the “ Big private Schools “ and for sure we did not want that . We decided to go with Yorktown . I am beyond happy with the experience . First starting with the fact my children are genuinely happy , they feel joy in going to school . This year in Yorktown has built up their confidence . They are progressing in the curriculum . I do not agree with the previous post in where someone said “ good enough “ I think the school has been great . Nothing is perfect but I can live with that while realizing that what truly matters is great in this school. Please note that one of my children left public school last year having won the award for academic excellence. For him I simply wanted more challenge . My other child also a great student but needed more individual attention and at Yorktown she had excelled and blossomed . If anyone is considering Yorktown I recommend it wholeheartedly. I plan on this being my children’s last school .

As the guardian of an international student, I would like to say, Yorktown is not perfect but good enough. Meetings are held for international students at times in order to have them blended in the school life shortly. Yorktown provides the rigorous courses to students that you won't worry getting behind comparing with other big private schools. And they provide a lot of activities out of classroom, which makes school a sound community.

Yorktown is an exceptional college preparatory opportunity for students ready to take on "3Rs" quite different from the reading, writing and arithmetic Fred Flintstone and I experienced at Bedrock High. As a parent I see Yorktown's "3Rs" as rigor, resources and responsibility. By rigor I mean each student receives an individually tailored learning plan that challenges a student's thinking, stimulates curiosity, leads to the mastery of required courses both pre and post college admission and opens doors to potential scholarships. Next, Yorktown equips its students with state-of-the-art resources in the form of faculty, advisers,on-line education and a collaborative classroom environment. In terms of responsibility, Yorktown provides a student centered not teacher driven education. Successful students inherently possess or quickly develop the self-discipline needed to master challenging subject matter, deliver assignments on time, research independently, actively seek out resources required to succeed and work collaboratively with fellow students of diverse backgrounds, interests, abilities and motives. As a result, students not only learn but develop a life skill that is a key success factor in the real world of work. In brief, Mr. Reiners,Head of School and his talented team are delivering an exceptional college preparatory education. D.Black, parent

My student is in his first year at Yorktown, and I can already see a positive difference in his effort, pride in his work, and overall success as a student! I am impressed by the teachers, and I am especially impressed with the dean of the school, Ms. Ajmera. Yorktown provides a student-centered, Do What You Love environment that is having a positive impact on our family!

We enrolled our son at Yorktown Education two years ago and we are so very pleased with his development, we can honestly say it’s been a superb experience. He is thriving and most importantly, loves going to school and loves all his teachers. The school is academically strong and has a great feeling of community. The education and development of each child is paramount and the teachers really bringing out the best in each child, challenging & engaging with them and are highly attentive to each child's individual development. The curriculum gives students great grounding in all subjects and teaches them important life skills, such as independence and respect for others. We like to observe how Yorktown Education enables the well-trained and caring teachers to give our son a variety of individual lessons throughout the day. For us, it strikes just the right balance of a structured and supportive environment that fosters academic preparation along with independent learning and intrinsic motivation. We, parents, are always welcome to visit the school and join in various activities, and the community of parents is excellent and we have formed strong friendships thanks to the school. In addition, the Dean of School Mrs. Purvi Ajmera has been very caring, highly attentive, responsive, willing to address our concerns, and happy to share with us her vast knowledge and experience. We are fortunate to be part of Yorktown Education community. Finally, I am lucky that my son is surrounded by such caring and devoted teachers who LOVE what they do and love their students.

We just started our third year. It was such a good decision for us to move to Yorktown. My kids are doing great and are happy. The class sizes are small and my kids get individual attention they need. If they struggle in one subject, they devote time to getting them to where they need to be. If they excel at another subject, they let them fly and give them the tools to advance as fast as they need to advance.

Yorktown Education recognizes that each child is unique, with special talents and gifts in certain areas, and also identifies those learning areas that need additional support. The school, its administration, and its incredibly talented teaching staff all work together toward these aims. This incredible vision for teaching our children in the best way for each of them is followed by every representative of the school. Best of all, the students see the value in this process and help one another rather than trying to defeat their competition. Yorktown provides a customized, supportive, and excellent learning environment.

My son just graduated with college credit. He love school so much he did not want to leave. A lot of his classmates had full ride college scholarships and that are all going to the first choice college.

At Yorktown, we want your child to have a fulfilling and inspiring life. So we take a dramatically different approach to their education. And it’s working. Because our students are excelling at levels that traditional schools simply can’t deliver. Our education model is student-centered, which means each individual student progresses according to their own accomplishments - academically, socially, personally. From the development of custom curriculum, to the integration of personal interests and a flexible cohort-based campus environment, every detail is designed to teach students to discover and do what they love. The result? Higher achievement. And ultimately, happy, engaged, fulfilled children and young adults. And - when we fulfill our vision - a peaceful, more prosperous world for the next generation.

My daughters transcript was a joke. Her classes at Yorktown were taught by teachers she could never find. Her language class with Rosetta Stone didn't teach her anything. Thank goodness I knew math to teach her.

I attended Yorktown Education and found that if you need a grade check or help, the teachers are there to help. It is a great school for people who are willing to do the work required. The staff are nice and willing to help. It's at your own pace, which worked for me (don't be fooled though you still have to do the work on time). I would highly recommend this school, it was like a second family for me, supportive the whole way through.

The value of this degree is nonexistent. Most of the students in my son's graduating class transferred out and the only attending college dropped out. They receive no attention and the teachers do not seem to care. In addition cheating off of google is incredibly prevalent. Please do not waste your money.

Yorktown edu is a great place for smaller children. They have great teachers and fun activities, but severely neglect the upper school (mainly the high school). With limited space, new teacher popping up every year, and a dishonest promise of being able to 'move ahead' from your starting level. The math teacher is always on a smoke break, and the english teacher likes to take weeks off and get our finals off of spark notes. This school is great for elementary aged children, but not very supportive of anyone higher than that. I've been told by the staff that they're doing "all we can do to get the younger ones in. That's what we really want." So, in my opinion, get your kids out once they hit 12. - A student
