Run, run far away! This school district is horrible and has done nothing but decline. Staff doesn't want to teach, help students, or appreciate students. So many double standards. Teachers who have no issue pushing their own personal agenda and home beliefs. Can we say indoctrination. Now on to start times, they have the very young kids now starting at 7:20am and out just before 2. That means 6:00 am up for these little guys. Now EGJ doesn't start till 9:20am. Not to mention many families had older siblings helping with pick up of the little one. This can NO longer happen with the time change and parents need to try to find family, friends or have to pay someone to help. This puts even more burden and strain of many struggling families. Had great hopes for the new superintendent and all his promises. Well that was false hope.

The teacher involvement with students is amazing. A few teachers still stand out in mind today for their ability to recognize student needs on an individual basis. The music program has exceptional guidance and the IMSA outreach program provides an excellent resource to further expand your child's mind. My child has excelled in District 88 and will be heading off to her first choice university this fall thanks in great part to the Plano school system.

Some of the teachers do a very poor job teaching the kids. There seems to be more of an emphasis on just passing along the student to the next grade and not making sure they understand the subjects.

They should have the teachers do better jobs in helping the students learn. They shouldn't make it so stressful on the students and not give so much homework every single night.Better and healthier school lunches.Aids, helpers, and teachers that are more kind to the students.
