My son is bullied day by day without the staff doing nothing about itvery disappointed

my school is trying harder each day to improve our reading, math, science, history, P.E. and elective scores. We have been offering electives for our students such as, art, political art, drama, sewing, gardening, reading buddies, music, and more.

Pixley M.S. has implemented the Step Up Program during the 2012 13 school year and due to the student involvement and excitement the program has been continued this current school year. Kids are challenging their own character by standing tall in the face of peer pressure to respond or behave in unethical ways as an opportunity to show appropriate behavior. Pixley M.S. after several years of Intervention class periods has brought back electives to promote a healthy balance of varied exposure to 21 st Century skills and college and career exploration. The arts have returned in the form of a new music program. Clinical research has proven that music lessons use both hemispheres of the brain which can only benefit student academics. This district is reaching outside of recommendations for improvement to open up avenues of interest for students to help foster the engagement of its learners.9
