- Submitted by teacher on December 18, 2011As a teacher at Pixley Middle School, I can easily say great things are happening! Our state test scores have improved drastically. The county is recognizing this with an award. We have a great sports program (several league championships in multiple sports over the last three years). Extra curricular activities like book clubs, chess club, spelling bee, ASB, and many more are bringing fun and learning to more kids than ever before. Parental involvement is still lacking as the final piece to the puzzle, but I am confident with the strides we are making in that area. The Pixley staff, from admin. on down, truly cares about these kids.
