Principal Ramsey is an excellent educator and leader. My two children with learning differences excelled with the support provided here, going from having reading difficulties to testing in the 90th percentile. Mrs. Phillips is incredible as well.Unfortunately all that support disappears when you get to Mellon. Move to the other side of Lebo when your kids hit middle school.

This school has a caring and dedicated staff that makes learning fun and school enjoyable! The curriculum is great and teachers that my daughter has had have been wonderful. It is a small neighborhood school with a dedicated PTA and principal. We moved in to the district when my daughter started 2nd grade and she has loved it - I now can't imagine sending my children anywhere else!

We moved to the neighborhood for the school and have never been disappointed. The principal is especially fantastic. His competency trickles down to the teachers and staff. Great little school.

The teaching staff will need courses on behavioral management. Foster was built on excellence and the younger teachers entering this school need to keep those standards high.

I came to Mount Lebanon for a wonderful school system. Definitely not what I got. A majority of the teachers in the upper elementary grades don't seem to have teaching as their #1 priority. My son came home saying that his teacher accidentally uses a bad word or swearing word all the time and she tells the students not to tell anybody. I think the administration needs to be informed of this- That's not right.

The school is tiny and parking is tight. The school seems moderate in its capabilities. Almost all female teachers. Maybe open the school up a little bit more and have a little more diversity in the teachers.
