While the view from this campus is beautiful beyond words, the direction that admin is moving is concerning. Often times when I am on campus there are students who are not in class but outside on the playground with an assistant. I often see students not wearing shoes, throwing sand at their assistants, and communicating inappropriately. My student has mentioned to me many times that the class has to move outside the classroom so that they are safe and away from another student who is being violent. I do know that the police have been called to campus at least 3 times this school year. I am concerned that there are safety issues for some classes. All I can say is - get involved so that you know what is really going on during school hours. I feel the teachers do the best they can with the tools that they can use, but overall, it is a rough environment.

The social environment is hate filled. School refuses to protect the children being bullied

The school secretary at this school seems to be a bit out of line. I believe she runs the PTO as well, leaving you to question some of the leadership qualities? Parent profiling is a problem here. Expect to be given the third-degree in public in front of other parents and students. As parents of a student attend this school we are appalled and offended that anything less of kindness, privacy, and decency is received. I am sad the principal is not handling this problem employee, I have spoken with many other parents and grandparents who have felt the same kind of discrimination.

3-4 overall. This school has many pluses but I found more negatives overall. There is not the support for parents from the principal (circa 2010).

We have not been happy with the level of education our child was given by a very beginner teacher. After voicing concern we heard nothing from the principle. Also there isn't a lot of enrichment opportunities for the kids or after school learning programs. We came from a wonderful school that pushed the kids to do their best. Shell has been the complete opposite of that experience.

The teachers are wonderful, kind, and caring for the most part. The office and principal are lacking in organization, honesty, and due diligence in caring for the children attending. The facility itself is in need of repair, ramps with holes, etc.
