We have been at the school for 8 years now and I have 3 kids, all attending! I can’t imagine them anywhere else. Having a say in my children’s education is very important to my husband and I, teachers we can talk to and a principal who invites conversation and truly cares about each and every kid. My kids are receiving a stellar education and Most importantly are learning to act with integrity, and have ample leadership opportunities. Just this year the teachers have facilitated field trips to Hearst castle, solvang theatre, Oceano dunes center, countless trips to the library and are slated to attend the Ronald Reagan ranch. We are fortunate to have amazing public schools on the central coast, but Saint Patricks has been and will continue to be a place for us!

St. Patrick school is a gem in the Five Cities area. It is place where my children have flourished, both socially and academically. From the preschool through the elementary and jr high, the teachers have fostered and encouraged a love of learning environment. My child was having difficulty understanding a math concept and his teacher worked with him one on one and simplified the concept and related it to something my child was extremely interested in. My child was so thankful to his teacher, as was I! In my experience the principal has had a very open door policy. When my family had a concern last year, she made herself available to discuss our concerns and handled the manner with sensitively and professionalism. We have seen the school prioritize students - from wonderful school activities such as a color run, bring snow to the campus, dances, trunk or treat and so much more! In doing so, the school really fosters and sense of community among the students, staff and families. We have been very proud to be members of this St. Patrick School community.

Often, the good teachers are fired. The school does not listen to parents and students regarding bad teachers, and so they stay. The principal has been unfair to some people at the school, and overly harsh sometimes. Much too strict.

The school overall is the best in the area. The performance standard is higher than public school. The element that truely makes the school great is that the parents are commited in partnering with the teachers and staff in giving the students a superior education. School, parent and student accountablity is what make it the best.

Being a transplant to the area in February of 2012 I was concerned with selecting a school that would provide three "shell shocked" kids the best transition environment along with a great education. We couldn't be happier. From the first day's introduction to the warm and inviting staff my children our flourishing and we have become members of a great community in a very short period of time. If your thinking about any private education - you owe it to your children to put St. patricks high on the consideration list.

St. Pat's is a wonderful school where families come together to create a rich and rewarding community. Academics are top notch. Teachers are held to demanding standards and accountability is actively encouraged across the board. Under the guidance of a new principal and several new teachers, the school expects the students to participate and excel to the best of each child's ability. What was old and "status quo" has been renewed and is now the talk of the Central Coast.
