This school seriously needs to be shut down. Most teachers here have favoritism which makes some students have to work harder than others. There are a few teachers who only treat their gender and their skin color correctly, for example the art teacher. I have reported her to the counselor multiple times, only to be fussed at by the COUNSELOR. This school even grades our lunch period, and you can get held back due to LUNCH?? One of the gym coaches speaks weirdly to the girls, I have heard him call one of them "baby girl" and he always watches them during exercises. This school is also extremely unsanitary. It has roaches, spiders, etc. The bells are always off, and the dress code is unfair. Males are able to sag, wear skinny jeans, and I've even seen some boys doing inappropriate stuff during class... While the females get dress coded for wearing shirts that don't go down mid-thigh. I have even seen a kid get screamed at and sent to the office for asking for a passage in order to do their work?? Do not send your kids here, please.

At Rudd Middle School, I think it should shut down because the teachers are almost on their phones instead of teaching, it’s only still open because ESL (English second language) students are the reason why Rudd have. D, barely passing, this year new teacher for Esl is not doing well, the teacher doesn’t show us how to write an essay or start an essay. The new principal is horrible, she canceled pajama day because she thinks it’s distracting. She also got a student in trouble for being out in the halls, that student was only going to the restroom and he also had a pass with his teacher signature. 3 restroom passes per semester? What about girls who have their periods, they will need more then 3 passes, and guys to, some teachers don’t even let their students use emergency passes. Dress codes, principal lets some students by when their clothes are either tight, shirt is to small or anything, but she has gotten on to me multiple times to pull my shirt down, that day when she told me I had a jacket on and goes below my bottom, like she doesn’t tell other girls who are out of dress code that or even dress codes me, the school is just bad, we can’t even use our phones in the morning or afternoon, like we just want to spend 30 minutes on our phones before school starts, can’t even use it in the afternoons, what about our parents calling us and sending us messages?. The school is lucky to be passing with a D with that help of ESL students grade. And just barely

The school is horrible. they need to not put anybody I here. Everybody here is cussing all the time. everybody is skipping. There are kids trying to fight the teachers. multiple vapers. Everybody gets high. Teachers are always cussing. Mrs Farley is one specific teacher who always complains about everything including family issues. She is always sexist. no body cares about the one policeman at the school. At lunch there are always good fights. Teachers arguing over dumb things. The only 2 good teachers here is coach Lewis PE teacher and Ms. Wallace. The other teachers are all lazy and stay on there phone.

Don’t even think of placing your child in this school. Trash is everywhere, there are frequent fights, and tons of vapers at this school. Some staff at this school barely do their jobs! Like, how does a child get laced at the school and doesn’t get any help? Why did staff just stand there doing absolutely nothing while the mother had to call the ambulance herself? She didn’t have to do that. Maybe if the staff got proper training they would know to call the ambulance in that type of situation instead of depending on a worried mother. Oh, also, they need to change these outrageous rules. Why are they giving us only THREE passes to go to the bathroom each semester? Think about the girls who are having their time of the month, I’m sure they don’t wanna use their passes because of how limited they are. Also, If they’re so worried about what could be happening, they should have those hall monitors like back in elementary school. Honestly, this school could do WAY better then this.

The school was updated over the past year. They have added on to the building and brand-new furnishings. Every staff member that we have encountered has been friendly and professional. We look forward to the coming years.

This school is horrid to say it nicely! The Elementary Schools were good. This school has terrible leadership and the teachers are out of control! It should be shut down and plowed over! Don't expect better from the High School either!!! It gets worse. Get your child out while you can!!!

I don't like that this school is so run down. And so many new teachers every year. No parking to really speak of. Especially when administration holds events for all 3 grades on one evening. Seriously? Can't spread it out to make it a little easier not to mention safety? Also WHY do students walk around a parking lot (with traffic no less) for PE? This school can be a much better and safer learning environment if more parents speak up to the BOE and above. Stand up for our kids! Acidemcis needs more help too. Tired of seeing this school get such a low grade/rating year after year after year.

If a school can not make AYP two years in a row, maybe it is time for new leadership. Only the parents in the community can make that happen. Pressure from organized parents has worked wonders in many failing school systems. Stand up parents in Pinson. Take back your school. Demand results.

I went to Pinson schools myself my entire life. Rudd is nothing like when I was there. This is a terrible school system who has not met AYP for two years in a row. If we could move we would, I am trying all I can to get my children into AYP passing schools as we speak. The staff here is just as terrible. There are very few teachers that take their job seriously. The others are just there. If you have the chance don't sent your child to any Pinson schools.
