TGB has the staff and resources to help students from surrounding community materialize their academic aspirations during the high school career and beyond. Teachers, especially those at the Advanced Placement level, go above and beyond to ensure their students excel in all facets of student life. The school also has a plethora of extracurriculars to choose from.

Did all my 4 years at Trevor Browne ,and I wouldn’t change it for the world! All my teachers were great, and still are great. They helped me and gave me the resources I needed to gradate . Still til this day I keep in touch with them. If I could I would definitely go back and re-do my whole 4 years! “Once a Bruin always a Bruin .” #classof2011

Attended Trevor Browne from 2007-2011 and I had the best time of my life there. I made plenty of friends, I was never involved in any incidents nor did I see anything I shouldn’t have, teachers were great and worked with me whenever there was a problem in my life. My teachers even supported me emotionally as I lost my grandfather my senior year in 2011. If I could attend here again, I would!

As a recent graduate, TGB has had the resources I needed to succeed. The staff have always emphasized the amount of resources the school has to offer & were very supportive all 4 of my years. With these resources, I recieved a scholarship to Grand Canyon University. During my time there I revisited TGB to find inspiration & little did I know I'd be reminded of the profession I truly desired. It is an amazing place filled with tremendous opportunities & an amazing staff.

The teachers in this school really care, they push you to be the best. If it wasn’t for my teachers I wouldn’t be where I am today a, chemical engineer at a Fortune 500 company and a leader in my community. They have have expanded their AP courses and offer ACT and SAT prep so students can achieve higher scores as well as prepare them for college courses.

I had the best high school experience at TGB! The teachers and counselors were kind and always willing to help. They always encouraged students to strive for more. I obtained a full ride scholarship to an out of state university and wouldn’t have received it without the guidance and support of so many teachers and my counselor at Trevor Browne. I still keep in touch with many of my teachers and enjoy the lasting bonds we were able to create in four years! Once a Bruin, always a Bruin!

If I could redo high school all over again, I would come back to Trevor with no hesitation. The relationships I made with my teachers, my counselor, and the staff was incredible. Of course there were some ups and down but what high school doesn't have its ups and downs. I loved my experience there. I got a full ride to a top 20 university and I'm still in contact with some of my favorite teachers :)

I have been teaching at TGB for 14 years now. I stay at TGB because of my passion to help this community. I have also coached several sports for Trevor Browne. Its an honor to coach these students. They are smart, funny, caring, and respectful young men and women. I am lucky to have these students in my life.

I would give anything to go back to Trevor to experience it all again. The admin was always friendly and their doors were always open. Teachers were always willing to help and were always there for us when we needed them. The counseling department was by far the best, being able to go see your counselor and have then guide and encourage you. Thanks to the love and support of the TGB staff I was able to graduate as a Junior and today I am grateful and proud to be a Bruin!

Every school is going to have Good and Bad it depends on what the student wants to make the experience like. Thankfully Trevor browne had and has amazing teachers and programs to keep those who wanted busy and educated. I graduated over 10 years ago and I'm still very proud of being a Bruin! Once a Bruin always a Bruin. TGB for Life!

The experience here at TGB High School is pretty much enjoyable besides all the work you have to do as a student. All the students are very diverse and it's pretty amazing. They have many clubs and activities for the students. An the school is pretty safe, but the administration could be better. Overall, it's Okay.

I currently work at Trevor and find that there are pros and cons. Pros: there are so many great sports, clubs, arts programs, and activities to be a part of. That is where you will find the most loving and engaging teachers. They want to be there for students and in return, those students find an interest in school and life. Teachers also give their time for the students, even if they know think they will succeed. Aims is tough because seniors, who have taken the tests 3 times now, still do not pass. What you don't see are all the Saturdays and evenings spent to make them increase just a little bit to make their spirit rise. :) Cons: It is easy to tell which students' parents are involved in their life. It's sad, but students showing up in class, but not caring about class, at least they aren't at home getting in trouble. Also, we have roughly 3,000 kids...that is too many! Students need to find a place here with those clubs, sports, arts, etc, or they will find themselves with friends that hurt them, and not help them. Trevor is a great school, but it is the kid's choice to make it great. If they find themselves in bad spots, or no support, the teachers care and will help. :)

I attended TGB the entirety of my junior year and half of my senior year. I had never before been in such an emotionally claustrophobic environment in my life. Granted, it IS in a shoddy part of Phoenix, but this should inversely serve as motivation to succeed in high school and live better lives. Instead, the majority of the students seem to have been sucked dry from the ability to put in a bit of extra effort. The staff also appear to be harboring hate to their higher-ups. They seem forced to pass any student who has a beating pulse. Yet they're not forced to talk to parents, to challenge kids, or pay attention to the students ("Does anyone have any Q's?" [I raise my hand] "No one? Good, let's continue with the rehashed Powerpoint lesson.") There is ONE good teacher at this school. He taught me AP Calc and is underpaid. There is obviously an issue that is attacking the majority of the alumni, and instead of discussing ways to improve the academic rigor, the principal spends his afternoons in his little exclusive "book club" instead of coming out to the pep rally. The 1.5 years that I spent at this diploma mill hardened me. Please, find an alternative school for your child.

It is unfortunate that TGBHS has such great teachers, and the students are mostly friendly but the poor parent/community involvement, low school-spirit, and many administrative restrictions are what really hold the school back. It is safe for the most part and there really aren't many cliques. However few students preform well academically and electives offered are very generic. Our sports teams help build character, but we rarely go to state these days. The experience here is what you make it.

I think Trevor Browne is a very good school besides all the rumors that are told about it. It is filled with excellent teachers that push students to excellence.
