My grandkids (4 ) LOVE this school! They are excited to go to school, really don’t like it when they have days off. They are uber excited to return after vacations. I have met the new principal and vice principal and a few of the teachers and I am very impressed. The library is AMAZING and every staff member is courteous and appears to know all kids by name. I attended an evening event in the art room where we learned how to paint a picture with acrylics and the art teacher is truly gifted in patience and guidance of her students. Incidents between students are handled with appropriate response and action with sensitivity for all parties. My grandkids are happy here at Amberlea Elementary and that’s huge!

Well this year has been better than previous years. The new administration doesn't tolerate bullies or misbehaving. The teachers genuinely care about their kids and the resource teachers are wonderful. I have 4 kids here in 2 different grades. They love going to school to learn and see their friends. The staff are all friendly and approachable. They have looked into any concerns I have brought up to them as a parent point of view.

this school has teachers are very impolite and are not good at teaching. Because of this school my son started talking back and swearing, would not recommend

Gave a covid test without permission and now they won't answer any questions. This school is playing politics it just disgusting

WHERE CAN I START, I HAVE 3 CHILDREN ATTENDING AMBERLEA FOR THE FIRST TIME, THIS IS THIER 3RD WEEK IN AND THERE HAS BEEN SO MANY ISSUES THERE IS A HUGE ISSUE ON BULLYING MY CHILD DID NOT WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL BECAUSE HIS LUNCH WAS STOLE TWICE AND SOME KIDS WOULD TAKE STUFF FROM HIS BACKPACK, TEACHER ARE NOT HELPFUL THEY SWIP PROBLEMS UNDER THE RUG, MY SON IN KINDER WAS PUT ON A BUS AS HE IS A PICK UP STUDENT. THIS WEEK A CHILD WAS BULLIED IN THE MORNING ANOTHER STUDENT SHOVED HIM AND KICKED HIM AROUND. EVEN WENT ALL OVER THE INTERNET, OVER ALL NOT THE SCHOOL I EXPECTED.

After attempting to set up a meeting with the teacher and principal about lack of communication on the schools part, and the teachers constant absense, I was blown off by both teacher and principal.

I've been going to Amberlea since kindergarten, they have taught me so we'll. So yes the school may have some mistakes, but it is a great school the teachers Are very caring! It's going to be my last year & it's very sad because I've know some of these teachers that long! We'll I'm sure if your child comes to Amberlea, He'll love it. He just has to focus. It's not the school, it's you, yourself.

Horrible school, teachers are not interesting in students progress, not helping students at all. I would not go there again if it was the last school on earth. There is a lot of bulling going on , the education level is low teachers give students homework once a month.
