Sun Valley has been a wonderful change for our family. Our children feel supported by staff and teachers and because of this they have flourished this past school year and surpassed all of our expectations. The administration is responsive and very engaged. We love Sun Valley!

When I initially brought my child to apply, I felt it’d be a good experience based on everything I was told. Only later did I find out differently. I felt completely shut out as a parent by both staff and my daughter’s teacher. I felt this school completely misled us, even after I specifically stated my concerns & my daughter’s unique needs. I was reassured of the best, a quality learning experience but received nothing close to that. False advertising to say the least. This school seems to prey on lower income families and pushed only for numbers rather than true quality. Bodies to fill seats, especially during a time when they were transitioning to their new location. The teacher made a good speech during open house but failed to deliver on her many one liners. She lacked basic terminology and skill to properly assess my daughter. She failed to communicate, constantly blew off not only me, but as I witnessed, other parents as well. And when I went to withdraw finally, there was no compassion about it, no positive reinforcement, no sunny send off, no attempt to even mediate the problem, or concern for my child’s well being. They gladly shuffled us aside void of all hospitality. Never mind our time & investments. It proved only to be a major set back for us and an absolute waste of time. My husband, after seeing how upset I was by this inhumane transaction, made a call to the administrator in an effort to make known the affects of our experience; specifically requesting an inkling of humanity or concern. Only after his request did I finally receive a call but even that was fake and scripted, undeniably void of care. It was clear they gave no care about my child or an issue they already deemed insignificant. Word of caution to parents, be sure to always ask questions, constantly be alert and aware of what’s truly going on with your child b/c teacher’s and staff in some cases are all too happy to push their needs & your express concerns aside to make their jobs easier. Don’t let your child be lost by the wayside by blindly putting your trust in a school that considers your child a number to begin with. Be very aware when they seem to make wild claims & promise your child the sun & the moon. And when all the smiling, exuberant faces you saw upon arrival, making all those wonderful promises, seem to dissipate immediately after you seal the deal, run!

My son loves this school. The staff is wonderful and the teachers are amazing. It's a very fun environment with tons of support. Can't wait to start the new year.

My children attended the school from Pre-K through 1st and 2nd grade. We always loved the school and felt like the curriculum was rigorous. I always had concerns though regarding Arizona's ranking in the US being so low and how my girls were really ranking. Well we moved to Dallas TX and boy were they prepared!!! So prepared that our 2nd grader could go into the 3rd grade no problem. The atmosphere at the school was always family like and we are always and forever grateful for our children's foundation they received at Sun Valley!!!

My kids have acquired great knowledge and leadership skills while attending Sun Valley Charter School. My kids enjoy going to school everyday. The staff is so involved in the students academic success. Thank you Sun Valley Staff for all you do! I highly recommend this school.

There are no words to express how grateful I am to have my children in Sun Valley Charter School. All staff are amazing people that truly care about the students. I love the parent teacher communication and appreciate all the extra help that is given when needed. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a great education, loving and caring teachers and a wonderful learning environment for their children.

Sun Valley Charter School is awesome in every sense of the word! It is driven with excellent leadership from administration and phenomenal, loving teachers. My child's academic endeavors are blossoming and are cultivated there. The teachers really care and it shows through their efforts to ensure each student does his or her best. The school culture is warm, inviting and academically sound. Our child looks forward to going to school each and everyday. To my husband and I that speaks volumes. I can go on an on about this school. Take a tour and see what we already know, Sun Valley is truly great!

I absolutely love Sun Valley Charter School. Ms. Morrison and her staff really care about our kids and do an awesome job! My daughter loves her teacher and loves going to school. I would definitely recommend Sun Valley Charter School to any parent.
