My son is on the spectrum (high functioning). I made it clear to them of this prior to school starting, I asked to get an IEP meeting or at-least to meet/speak the team prior to school starting. That never happened. I did not meet the SPED teacher until 2 weeks after school starting (I met her by coincidence as she was at the gate greeting kids). I asked 2 times for a meeting after. Nothing has happened since school started. I have received several updates on my son’s behavior (which I understand) but when I question them what leads to my son behaving as such THEY NEVER KNOW! I can never get a straight forward answer to my questions. My son since starting school has started to urinte on himself again. He has not had an accident since getting potty trained. He has started to elope since starting school and has been attached to me more than usual. They got in contact with his preschool teacher to see if he had these behaviors in preschool, she stated he did not have these behaviors which is why he graduated from SPED PRE-K. They keep saying they don’t know why he is behaving this way.Fast fwd to today, I am bot sure what happened but he ended up “punching” a teacher. The teacher pulled me inside the classroom to tell me about the incident and tell me he was getting a referral for hitting the teacher (who is pregnant) & stated the teacher cannot be around my son anymore. I questioned what led to this incident and of course the led to ‘WE DON’T KNOW’. How can they do a referral w/o knowing what led to such behavior.The teacher he “punched” is the assistant for his home room teacher. So my question is if the teacher can’t be around him.. are they removing her from class or my son?I’d like to add that the FEW times I have had the chance to speak to the SPED teacher.. all she did was basically COMPLAIN and made it seem like my son was an inconvenience for her. Her tone of voice was always as though she was annoyed. I think she should reconsider her career. YOU ARE A SPED TEACHER AND YOU ARE GOING TO COME ACROSS SO MANY DIFFERENT KIDDOS WITH DIFFERENT BEHAVIORS AND NECESSITIES!! I am removing my kid from this school. I would steer clear from them if your kiddos are needing extra help. They do NOT help. They make everything worse.

My 2 sons are studying here and we are thankful to our Teachers . We constantly seeing growth in their learnings and teachers are very interactive and having follow-up sessions with parents on our students performance.

The 2017-2018 year was pretty good but they really went downhill 2018-2019 year. Steer clear of this school. They try to pass themselves off as a Grade A school when they are a C -!

The teachers are conscientious and challenge the students. The staff are very helpful and supportive.

I love the developmental preschool program at Loma Linda, and my daughter couldn't be happier. The bus is a favorite of mine, until the kids are on break.... since my daughter sits at the end of the drive waiting for a bus that is not coming. I love the projects and the participation within. I love that the teachers, nurse.... the staff entirely are so attentive. My daughter had a mark on her face from a sleep study the night before a regular school day (from the leads they have to wear at the hospital) and the nurse called to inquire whether maybe a child had bitten her, or to see if I was even aware of the mark. In my opinion, this says allot about the staff at Loma Linda! Thank you Loma Linda..

Loma Linda School and their staff have always been and continue to be very supportive of our special needs child. This level of care shows years of experience with special needs or other educational challenges. Other than coming to our home to educate her, we can't think of anything else for the school to improve upon.

My son is in the special preschool and we have been very happy. He is talking much more. The teachers are all very caring.

Great School. I have been on site on more that one occasion. Everytime, I have seen teachers and administrators instill courtesy values in the children. My child has had Great Teachers that care in every grade level. Expectaions and Goals are set every year, and monitored thru-out the year with parents. Parents are encouraged to participate in all areas of their childs education. The school constantly is striving to improve in all areas, to meet the needs of the children. Kudos to the entire Staff.

Excellent! This school is a hidden gem with dedicated and experienced professionals, friendly children and families. The neighborhood is going to be the next Willo district with mid-century homes and caring neighbors. I am happy we moved here from Northern California and our children attend.

This school has turned the corner. My children are in the primary grades. I am so impressed with the level of instruction, professional staff, and caring staff. My children are great readers! They love their teachers and Loma Linda School
