My step daughter has been going to this school for a while. All this time that she has been here was terrible for her. The vice principal at this school has been picking on my step daughter. I do not tolerate this behavior. I do not recommend Ira Murphy for anyone. The staff here is terrible. They never want to hear anyone out and make so many false accusations. If I could take my step daughter out of this school, I would. She has been complaining to me about her school and the staff there. I absolutely do not want to see any other kid feeling this way. Seeing my step daughter looking miserable everyday after school makes my heart shatter and fills me with anger. This is a terrible school and no child should have to go through this.

My daughter went to this school the administration sucks there they had her suspended for 3 days all because she gave a friend of hers a pad. She also was wrongfully accused of having a vape pen with her. They wouldn’t hear her nor her friends out. She was searched without consent even when they saw that they only had a rice krispy treat on them. They later called me informing me of what happened however they had changed it up including things that were not true in order to get her in trouble however she was recording a TikTok at the moment so she was able to get the whole interaction with the dean in a recording which showed the complete opposite of what they had said to me

This school is terrible. Staff members are accusing such innocent, young children of doing drugs. This is unacceptable! I do NOT appreciate the way they treat their students. The staff teach kids poorly and do not treat them nicely! They give out suspensions over the littlest things. These staff members need to open their eyes! Very terrible school. I would rate it 0 stars if I could.

The staff and kids are great! We love this school. Teachers are patient with the kids who are struggling.

Ira Murphy is a good school. The teachers are caring and put the students needs first. There is little parent involvement, but it isn't due to the lack of opportunity. Murphy hosts many event throughout the year to involve parents, they are just reluctant to come, perhaps they are working as this neighborhood is full of struggling families. I don't have much experience with the upper grader, but the lower elementary team is wonderful, so friendly, and always smiling.

ALOT OF BULLY ALOT OF TO MUCH TALK NO PARENT INVOLVEDMENT AND THEY TALK TO YOUR SON BEHIND WITH OUT YOU THERE, THEY DONT CALL WHEN A PROBLEM COMES UP THEY ASK QUESTIONS WHAT HAPPEN IN A FIGHT OR SOMETHING AND DONT CALL YOU AT ALL TILL HOURS LATER WHY TALK TO THE CHILD CALL PARENT FIRST

Ira A. Murphy is an incredible school where the school leadership and staff really care about the students. They will go out of their way to meet the needs of each individual student and at the same time have fun!

This school lacks security, the campus is open and kids are vulnerable all day. My daughter has been bullied this past year. We attempted to notify the school, it only got worse. The nurse is great, the teachers are great. There is not enough parental involvement, no all day free kindergarten, and not having individual parent teacher conferences are all downfalls.

Terrible school!! Faculty gives out your personal information! The staff is very lazy and does not attend to the chrildren! Children are left roaming the school alone. Very unsafe! Especially in that neighborhood!,

I have going here for about 10 years, my personal view is great staff, although not the best student behavior. This school has been decreasing in multiple areas, However overall this is a relatively good school
