This school allows teachers to bully others. Male teachers bully, mock and name call women and the men who stand up for women. When confronted, the school ignores, deleted, blocks all evidence. This is not a Christian school!!

I graduated in 2014, so it has been some time. I cannot speak to the school as it is now; however, as it was, it was a vibrant community with tons of community between classes. I will say that our class always felt like the last of the old guard as we were one of the first to go from K-12. It may very well have deteriorated since my graduation, but I cannot confirm or deny that. That all said, Trinitas prepared me well for life. I have stood out everywhere I've been... from working as a contractor and supporting multiple programs/program managers in Safety Engineering to working at Boeing in Cybersecurity and crushing performance reviews despite having had very little cybersecurity experience when I was first brought in. Trinitas gave me the traits I needed to be successful -from public speaking to calculus- and the worldview to acknowledge that my life is not my own, nor is my talent. Trinitas gave me an environment where that nerdy, pasty white kid with acne could flourish. My life is a product of the ones who have poured their life out into me, and quite a few of the ones I contribute my success to were friends, teachers, or otherwise at Trinitas. Was it perfect? No. Was it what my younger self needed? I could not say yes enough times.

As an alumni, I can attest to the fact that Trinitas trains your children more than develops them. Individual thought or expression is not tolerated. You are told how to act, speak, and think. You are welcome in its "community" only if you act a certain way (clearly evident in the school's lack of diversity). Friendships are shallow since you fear doing or saying something that will ostracize you from the "community". If you care about your child's mental health and wellbeing in additional to their spiritual growth, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

I have three sons at Trinitas. Some of what makes it special:- high academic standards, with the emphasis on striving for mastery, not achieving a certain grade;- a welcoming, vibrant community of families who are active in the life of the school;- a classical Christian education that cultivates an appreciation for beauty and truth and a child’s virtue and faith; and- a talented, experienced, and committed faculty and staff who love the school and its mission.I wish every child and family could experience it!

In May 2021, bad actors within the school community forced out the entire board and several excellent teachers, some of whom had invested in the school from its earliest days. In doing so these bad actors channeled the spirit of the French Revolution, decapitating the school body and cutting it off from its own past and memories. They believe their own new, rash behavior, which can boast little experience, no demonstrable success, and no patient humility is somehow better than the wisdom and practices that have accrued slowly and at the cost of much pain and labor.“Conservatism starts from a sentiment that all mature people can readily share: the sentiment that good things are easily destroyed, but not easily created. This is especially true of the good things that come to us as collective assets: peace, freedom, law, civility, public spirit, the security of property and family life, in all of which we depend on the cooperation of others while having no means singlehandedly to obtain it. In respect of such things, the work of destruction is quick, easy and exhilarating; the work of creation slow, laborious and dull. That is one of the lessons of the twentieth century. It is also one reason why conservatives suffer such a disadvantage when it comes to public opinion. Their position is true but boring, that of their opponents exciting but false.”This place made me a conservative. Tragically, after May 2021, much of what was good here has been undone by impatient, progressive people who’s visions are exciting but false.

I am very pleased with Trinitas Christian School, the Curriculum is strong, the values are the core of the instruction given and my kids are truly loved at school. I feel we are a family and we are learning together and growing together. Trinitas was the best choice for my family and I would not choose another school to trust my kids education.

We've had difficult times at Trinitas because the standards for academics are high. However, the standards have pushed our kids to develop in areas they wouldn't otherwise develop in an environment with lower standards.

My child attended Trinitas for elementary school. The positive aspects of this school are that the curriculum is biblically based and interesting. Students study the Bible and history chronologically in tandem. As a result, students have a real understanding of how the scriptures fit into the history of the world. It is really fascinating. Also, I feel the majority of the teachers at the school genuinely love and care for the kids. However, the school is definitely a male-dominated culture. In addition, the school has a pervasive culture that promotes elitism. As a family, we decided this is not the environment we felt was best for our child. In our opinion, Jesus was seeking out those who were different from him rather than attempting to isolate himself from 'those' people. In terms of academics, the school does an excellent job in the areas of language arts, music, and foreign languages. However, our child was woefully ill-prepared for the rigors which they faced in the areas of math and science during their secondary years. Ultimately, parents must decide what is best for their child. No educational setting is perfect, including Trinitas.

I take note of the tone of the April 4, 2917 review as compared to the tone of some of the earlier negative reviews. The negative reviews fit with my experience at Trinitas and they sound much more level-headed, intelligent, and yes...not cheerleader like.

I have read many of these posts and I am very displeased with the attempts to slander the character of men, women, boys and girls. I am not naive enough to believe that the staff, faculty, and student body are perfect but to suggest, as some of these post have, that staff and faculty are not Christian is nothing short of a lie. Sure, at times, staff and faculty make mistakes with how they handle situations, but that is common among all times and places. As adults, we know that our co-workers (and ourselves) make mistakes; sometimes those mistakes are egregious. But I can assure you that the staff and faculty of Trinitas Christian School truly desire the best for our children. They are Godly men and women who seek to teach their students in more than just "letters & numbers". Some will say that I have been "brainwashed" or that I am a "cheerleader", well, that is their prerogative. But if you desire to see your children steeped in a deeply rooted Christian community which places a high value on the authority of Scripture and the community of Christians, then this is indeed the place for you--without question.

Trinitas is okay if you are able to put up with mean people. I never was able to feel close to any other students, and the few students who were nice to me, i was not allowed to sit with because they happened to be girls and I was not. MY time there was the loneliest time of my life. The teachers dominated everything. No one ever listened to the students. They are not training the kids to be able to deal with the world once they graduate. The kids are trained to be judgemental of anyone who isn't like them. They paint a negative picture of christianity. They supress their student's feelings and ideas, and 80% of the kids are miserable. Most people who went there say they didn't like it. They have a very bad agenda. The kids are brain-washed and thise needs to stop. now.

A a military family, our children have attended a variety of schools. Until Trinitas, we have never found a school that strived so hard to meet all of our children's needs and love them just as they are. They have been accepted, welcomed and encouraged in their individual gifting. Unsure of what our first weeks at a new school would hold, we immediately saw them grow in confidence and in knowledge. While no school is perfect, we have seen an amazing environment of grace towards us and our children. Communication with teachers and staff has been welcomed and encouraged. The curriculum has been a needed challenge that I think will greatly prepare them for the future. We have children in all 3 levels of the school and have had nothing but pleasant interactions with all of the teachers. We have found Trinitas to be a school that encourages true wisdom and thinking while maintaining an environment that well balances discipline and grace.

The books I read at Trinitas taught me truths that changed me--that made me the person I am today, and hopefully a decent one. At the same time, I am still trying to heal from the many wounds and damages I experienced at the hands of Mr. Trotter and the culture at large. Problems accepting self-esteem, problems with being okay with the person I am (even if "PEOPLE" might THINK LESS of me for it). Who are these people? The parents of other students? I don't know who else cares so much about appearances, but maybe I'm wrong. Students are taught to constantly think about what other people think--to the point where thinking of it any other way seems impossible. Problems trusting myself or my judgement--after being yelled at for years not to trust my feelings, intuition, or even logic (the same logic I was taught), leaving the structure of Trinitas was hard. Trinitas also constantly told us our feelings were invalid--so emotion, or even the capability for it, became very difficult in a culture where they were completely invalidated. The stress of the school also affected me deeply--there were weeks I couldn't eat for stress, and couldn't sleep for worry. That sounds melodramatic, but it's true. It wasn't just me, it was the environment. There is not enough accountability within staff--as far as favoritism goes. Also, because the culture is structured around an authority system that necessarily must be perfect, never expect an apology. For anything. And, if for some reason a teacher of staff member changes their minds, it's always a matter of "mercy"--they were never wrong the first time. They're just "showing grace" to you. Which is cool in theory, but when you think about it...if teachers are that afraid to admit being imperfect, what does it say about the culture? Everyone has a different experience with the school. Unfortunately, most alumni (especially of the past few years) would largely agree that their time at Trinities was negative. It's sad, and a lot of their logic or arguments are faulty, but it would be nice for the school to recognize this and perhaps listen to the kids it lauds so highly senior year. Maybe with Mr. Gilley as headmaster things will be different.

People are sinners. Are all the individuals that teach, administer and attend Trinitas perfect...absolutely not! However, it is an environment where excellence to the glory of God is pursued each and every day....in spite of our failures. Does that pursuit sometimes step on our toes...absolutely! My child's teacher pushes my young one to pay specific attention to every detail of handwriting, while this may seem picky or "over the top", my young scholar is being taught to do EVERYTHING (handwriting included) to the very best of their ability to honor our Holy God. Details matter to God. Is it easy for your children to attend Trinitas...NO! Educating children is ultimately the responsiblity of the parents and parents at Trinintas are called to engage...really engage! Even as parents, our sin is revealed through this process and we will either repent and seek forgiveness or become offended. I would challenge anyone to find a school of teachers and administrators that take the responsiblity of educating students in the love and admonition of the Lord more seriously than those that you will find at Trinitas. It is a community of like minded families pursuing the lofty task of recovering the Christian mind! May the Lord continue to bless this school!

My children have attended Trinitas for four years. The education is excellent!! There is a real dynamic of 'We were here first and therefore matter more' that is very hard to penetrate and stomach. Snobbery and clickishness in the student body is real. Whatever student wrote the review assuming the students complaining are 'jealous' appears to be a part of that dynamic I am referring to. I don't send my children to Trintas because it is perfect. I send them there because it is the best education around. It is a wonderful place to learn. You can be very involved with your childs education and really have to be...it is very academically challenging. My advice would be to just be assertive in pointing out any negative behaviors or snobbery, if in fact you encounter any. I have found the Principal and assistant Principal to be VERY helpful and concerned when I have had any concerns or grievances to discuss with them. I would submit that the snobbery involved here, as with any other school, begins in the home and is not entirely a result of attending the school, nor the responsibility of the school to deal with. The school can only do so much. May God lead you to HIS very best!!

What is it that causes some folks to become cheerleaders for particular school, regardless of the glaring and persistent ugliness that is actually characterizes the place? Is social pressure that effective? Trinitas is purely a farce. This is absolutely not a Christian environment, folks. Rather, it breeds snobbery and exclusivity. Truth, beauty, and goodness do not live here.
