Pecos Elementary is a great school that continues to grow and get recognized for it's successes! It is up to us parents to be active members in our child's education! As an active parent, I have always been meet with open arms and feel my opinions and ideas are valued. The teachers are awesome to work with, the staff friendly and supportive, and the Principle is always willing to go the extra mile to ensure quality education and a safe learning environment! I was raised a Panther and graduated a Panther! My children will do the same!

I love Pecos Elementary School. My child attended a public school in Las Vegas, NM for 4 years and then I moved her to Pecos Elem. for her 4th and 5th grade year. Pecos takes pride in education and activities. She has been involved in extra curricular activities and is enjoying them immensely. She is an honor student and does well in her studies. My child was very shy, timid, and withdrawn when she first started. She has matured, become more confident, made many friends and is happy to go to school. I have never had any problems with the teachers or staff. I can always go to them for guidance and advice regarding my child. Pecos offers a lot of programs, activities, etc. for our kids. She never had this at the other school. I have always felt comfortable talking to her teachers regarding her education, etc. Parents just need to get more involved and communicate more with their teachers. The kids get along well and I haven't experienced any bullying. I will definitely miss the Elementary school next year, wish 6th grade was part of elementary. The principal (Debra Holten) is doing a great job and takes pride in the school. Go panthers!!

There are SO MANY things WRONG about this place! The PTA, the staff, the school functions... It's all wrong. The money is misappropriated. Students are scolded for going ahead! Meanwhile, there's 12 y.o.'s in a class of 9 y.o.'s! The bullying runs rampant and unchecked by the adults that should act on it. When students tell, they are hushed, NOT helped. At the "bake sales", they are selling STORE-BOUGHT BRAND NAME cookies at the price of 50-75 cents for just a couple of them in a sandwich baggie! That is NOT a bake sale. Unfortunately free public school online is not available until 6th grade... I hate the public school system here.

Pecos Elementary School is a great place to be a kid! We have a super new leader who has the support of her staff. The teachers work as a true team and changes are happening all the time. There are always challenges ahead, but data is being analyzed to make sure that the changes will be helpful and successful. We have the support of our parents through an active PTA that provides great opportunities for our students. I expect Pecos Elementary to become one of the role models for other schools in our state.

The school is equipped with great staff, great administration, and a great community. I really enjoy being a Panther.

Pecos Elementary School is a great school. Students are challenged and all teachers have high expectations. Our school believes that all students can learn. Students are treated fairly and have a voice in everything we do in the classroom. I have worked in many capacities within the district. Teaching by far has been the most rewarding of all positions I have held within the district. I am proud to be a Teacher at Pecos Elementary.

Pecos Elementary Staff work together to ensure students are receiving a strong foundation for the middle school and high school to build on.

The school is getting better, but the staff has to challenge the kids more and expect more from them. The students can produce more.
