Once I moved into the area, I talked to the neighborhood parents about the local school. The had great things to say! So I chose to enroll them (we had been homeschooling previously because the last neighborhood we lived in had unimpressive schools). It has been a wonderful place for my kids to learn! The teachers are caring and creative, the administration is excellent, the atmosphere is positive and clean. I'm so glad we moved here!

I have had children at Spring Lake Elementary for 4 years. It is an excellent school! We love the teachers and staff. I feel like my children's needs have been met and they are being given the tools to succeed. We live in an area where we have many choices of where to send our kids to school, but I choose Spring Lake. I know it doesn't get better than that!

I have a daughter in first grade at Spring Lake. Everyone has been so friendly and nice. Her teacher has done a great job at helping her improve her reading and math. (She has gone up 4 reading levels in 4 months!) The office staff has been very helpful and easy to work with. The Administration is caring and seems to know almost every child at the school! In the morning, there are always teachers and the principal outside greeting the students and welcoming them to school. I am glad my daughter goes to a school that has a staff that genuinely cares about their students.

I absolutely love Springlake and I am so sad we have to move away. The teachers and staff are great, we have great lunch ladies and possibly the best custodian around. The parents are great, the kids are great. The administration really cares about the students. As a public school we do have some higher student to teacher ratios, and when there is enough funding teacher aides are provided. This is the best elementary school in Payson, if not Nebo School District. I really can't say enough about how awesome this school is.

We love spring lake! I have been so impressed with the level of dedication and commitment from the faculty at spring lake. I have always felt I can come to my children's teachers with concerns and they have been very helpful and encouraging. The principal knows all the kids and works very hard to see that the school is a safe learning environment. I haven't had problems with bullying but I'm sure each class and situation is different just like any school. I do wish there were smaller classes but I appreciate being able to be a parent volunteer and be involved in what is going on in class. All in all I have been very impressed with the teacher quality as well as the communication between faculty and parents.

Spring Lake Elementary is the best! There are so many awesome teachers and the principal, Mr.Sainsbury is the coolest. They really love the kids.

Spring Lake has been a great school for my child. The teachers my child has had have been wonderful and I have never requested a teacher. I am very impressed with the amazing job the principal does. It seems he knows every child by name, which makes the kids feel good. Bullying has happened there, but in my opinion bullying can happen anywhere. The teachers and principal have been great to address this issue when brought up. My child is very smart too and I noticed in first grade that my child was getting a little bored with the books being sent home, all I had to do was talk with the teacher and she immediately found her better books that were at her level. I think as parents we send our kids to school and expect the teachers to teach and our job is done, but come on parents, teachers can't do their job if we aren't doing our part too. I have several children and work too but I always find time to be involved. We love Spring Lake elementary!

Bullying seems to be a problem at this school. We pulled our kid out of there after the first year. I also didn't like the teacher to student ratio. They rely on the parents to come and help out a lot with no teacher aid and that is hard when you have several kids to take are of at home. I also didn't feel like they were "challenging" my son enough who is very smart for his age. The administration seemed okay. I know my son really liked his First Grade teacher. But the kindergarten teacher seemed a bit rude and crude most the time. Anyways, long story short - wasn't for my kid and I put him in American Leadership Academy in Spanish Fork instead.
