My child graduated from CCS and tested at the post high school level in almost every subject. I still have a child enrolled in the school. Communication with the school's teacher, principal and secretary has been excellent. They hold the children and parents to high standards which I believe then prepares the student for high school and adulthood very well. This school is definitely a hidden gem.

A friend told me about CCS, which I feel is a hidden gem. My son attended in sixth grade and his teacher, Mrs. Feder, is the best teacher any of my three children have ever had - very caring and loving but also serious about their learning. He learned more in one year at CCS than he learned in many years of public school, AND, most importantly, he learned about our Creator, who is the source of all wisdom. I would highly recommend CCS for anyone who wants a good Christian education for their child in a small class setting.

I have always felt that before accepting a critics point of view, you should first hear both sides of the story. So before just believing any anonymous criticism of the school on this website, I would recommend that you contact the administration to hear the other side of the story. This seems to me to be the only fair thing to do. I am the parent of a fairly large family and I have had a number of my kids attend CCS over the years. I have been pleased and satisifed with both the education they have received and the spiritual growth they have experienced as a result of their attendance at CCS. I pray for God's continued blessing on this wonderful and much-needed ministry.

Over the last 10 years I have had 3 children attend community Christian school. I could not be more pleased with the choice. All children are different, and mine are no exception, but I can report that without exception, all my children loved the school. As parents we were impressed with the staff, the curriculum, and the schools deep devotion and commitment to doing those things it advertises achieving great educational results and developing strong moral Christian character. I have never met a staff of teachers, from principal to pre-school, who are so devoted the progress of the children. As a parent you are never left to wonder exactly where you child is during any part of the 8 year journey. May God continue to bless us with schools like CCS!

As a parent of two former graduates of CCS, I don't understand the negative reviews. Although my children don't attend CCS currently, I still have close ties with the school. As far as academics, I understand that this year's graduating class scored very well on the Stanford Achievement Test. Every graduate had at least one grade equivalency of post high school, and one student had 13 out of 17 scores at a post high school level. They must be doing something right. If the school atmosphere is as bad as was reported, you would think the students would all leave. However, I realize that in any group of people, there will always be someone who is not happy. Both of my children have been successful in life. They got their foundation education at CCS, and I am grateful

My two children went to CCS many years ago, and I think it was one of the best choices I ever made. The teachers were very caring, and if i had a problem, I was seen immediately by a member of the staff. Children are required to be respectful, and follow rules. My son went for six years and my daughter four years, when I put them in Public School for a couple of years. Upon entering public school, my son received the highest math grade on his team. My children then went on to Whitinsville Christian School, graduated, and went to college. My daughter went to college in Newton, Mass, where she graduated with a 5 yr. Graphic Design Degree. She worked for the prominent Sid Wainer Specialty Foods for several years.. My son is a successful Banker. He went to Liberty University in VA. then finished school in RI. I love that little school, and every time I walk by, I think of the happy times when they were there, and the lifelong friends that they and I have both made. I would most definitely send my child there. It is an awesome school, and probably has even more to offer today. I am grateful for that wonderful background they received at CCS and very highly recommend it.

My daughter is finishing her fourth year in the school and her younger sister will be entering the pre-school next year. The school is a "community" in the genuine sense of the word. As both a parent and professional educator, my experience with this school is one of an exceptional place of learning with staff who care for the children as they would for their own. Even with an advanced and challenging curriculum, small class sizes allow the teachers to guide students with diverse learning styles and abilities to success. In addition, academic achievement and positive values are emphasized with an equal sense of importance. I recommend this school as a hidden gem of education.

Community Christian School was the best choice for my family. With two boys, the teachers were able to push them to strive for the best. While they were there, I was able to volunteer regularly with their hot lunch program, their yearbook and end of the year carnival. My younger son excelled so much in math that in his senior year of high school he will be going to college for his math course. The teachers were able to see his advancement in math and offer him what he needed. It was because of CCS that helped my son go this far in math. The teacher to student ratio is great for their one on one involvement with your child. They are able to cater to your child's specific needs. The teachers have a love for God and for your child that they take time every morning to pray for their students. The teachers ask for respect and manners from the children every day. They showed their love and most importantly God's love to my boys and helped them to be who they are today. They are like family. Thank you to the CCS staff! I would definitely recommend this school.

I have had 3 of my children graduate from CCS with 2 more to go. I wouldn't think of enrolling them anywhere else. They have been challenged to strive for excellence and have received a strong moral and spiritual foundation upon which to build their lives. I will be forever grateful for the education my children received at CCS. THANK YOU teachers for all you have done for my family.

Enrolled 2 children in this school. I am incredibly disappointed in the school after almost a full year due to the following:1. There is little teacher parent interaction. Any contact needs to be initiated by the parent. Little information other than homework is communicated. When a parent does request a conference, the parent is made to feel that they are somehow "bothering" them by requesting them to stay after school. 2. There is a serious lack of leadership in the school. Issues that arise among the students/staff are handled in a cursory manner, and without a sense of caring for the students or family. 3. Students are not treated uniformly. If a student is struggling in their studies, there is no attempt by some teachers to help remediate the issue....instead they "write" the child off. This school advertises a quality Christian Education at an affordable price. Unfortunately the real cost is the poor education and self esteem that result from attending this school. Do not make the same mistake I did (A mistake that will not happen again) Look elsewhere. There are great schools that will not have such a high personal and academic cost.
