This school has little to no ingenuity when it comes to children that do not fit into the "norm". Every child learns differently and when a child becomes bored you should not punish them. I wish it did not take me as long to pull my child from this place as it did but I'm glad I have.

I absolutely love this centre. All lead employees have been working here for over 7 years. When I drop my son off in the Tadpole room (2 years old) every morning he runs in happy to see his teachers and friends. He comes home every night telling me what he has learned and what art projects he did that day. Ms. Meca and MS. Jamaie are so wonderful with all the children. They are the perfect pair for this room. Both are nurturing and patient and always smiling!

This school is AMAZING!!! It provides the love and nurturing children need while enriching them with meaningful activities and differentiated curriculums. My son is now in Kindergarten and went to SPCC from age 3-5. He left the center very prepared for kindergarten and is reading well beyond grade level. My daughter who is 3 now attends the center and absolutely loves it!! She has learned so much this year.

Overall we are pleased with SPCC. Our daughter loves her friends and enjoys learning. Last year our experience was spectacular. Her teachers were loving and it was apparent they thoroughly enjoyed working with children. This year it seems the lead teacher in her room doesn't care. She is always sitting and kids seen to frequently be in time out. We have witnessed children being sent to time out and no discussion is had as to why or what behaviors would be more appropriate. We have never taught young children but as parents of young kids we believe time out is only effective when a lesson is learned. If a child does not know what they did wrong they can't fix it. It would be nice if a quick daily report was sent home to indicate how their day was and/or if there was a problem. Several of our friends, have this at their centers and say it's been helpful so they can reinforce positive behaviors and address negative ones. Relying on a 2-5 year old to communicate this isn't logical. While this year has not been ideal, we know that the teachers next year are outstanding and we are grateful for the assistant director Sue and other staff members who are enthusiastic educators.

SPCC is a wonderful school. Mrs. Jane is one of the most caring and wonderful teacher I have had the pleasure to deal with. The education your child will recieve from this school is stellar. They always have fun activities for the children for all of the holidays. The only negative I could say is the school is a little old and could use some updating.
