My oldest graduated from ASA, and I have two more in the school. Caring teachers and an excellent principal--there is frequent communication with home and a "family" feel throughout. As a teacher myself, I can attest to the rigor of the curriculum as well as the support systems for the students. My own 3 have ISPs (the private school version of IEPs), and I've found the school's resources and accommodations to be helpful. However, if your child needs more than an inclusion model, this might not be the place for them. Phenomenal student musical each year (and a great musical instrument program too). Community service is woven throughout academics so the idea of helping others becomes ingrained as just as important as academics. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a small school community.

This was a wonderful school when Mrs. Berg was Principal, unfortunately, she is no longer here. The new Administration is awful and I do not recommend the school anymore. They make sure that the kids are as miserable as possible. They are getting in trouble for the smallest infractions, kids will be kids. It is now an ultra woke school :( Unfortunately, they are one of the few Private schools in the area that are left so your choices are limited… Since the new administration took over there has been a mass exodus from the school. It no longer is a genuine, welcome feeling now it’s fake smiles, and barely being acknowledged. it’s very sad and it hurts me to write this review.

We could not be more pleased with ASA. Our children are thriving and learning in a small community school where students feel known and part of a caring school family.

This school is amazing in many ways. The teachers and principle are approachable and like to have conversations with parents. They really care about the students and know the each student. They teach through STEM technology, so many hands on lessons which my kids always remember. It is nice the students wear uniforms, so no worries about what wear or kids being bullied for their clothes. My kids absolutely love this place, and the staff/students there feel like a second family. I have twins, and the teachers their did a great job on transitioning them to be comfortable in separate classes. I can't say enough about this place. It is a fun place to learn!
