Student at this school, this place is the worst, I’m constantly at the verge of a mental breakdown at this school, I am not going to give anymore details for legal reasons, but if you value your child’s life, don’t pay to send them here. I am the ONLY autistic child in this school and they staff do not help me at all and only really make my issues worse.

This school is absolutely terrible. Elementary school was decent, I have no complaints in that section. I can however say middle school has been absolutely terrible. Students are rude and extremely disrespectful, rules are completely ignored. Education (most important aspect in my opinion) is beyond disappointing. Learning in an environment is near impossible. Homework is spotty at best and typically has little to do with the lesson. I've had great difficulty keeping up with the classes because it is simply not a good environment to learn in. If I could put it into a few words, students are far beyond out of control. Teachers constantly fluctuate and I'd like to give them a little bit of grace in that aspect because I'm sure it's difficult to teach a brand new class with no concept of their skill level. Around 7-10 minutes of 45 minute instruction time is wasted getting students to quiet down or just lecturing them. Would absolutely not recommend. If anything, I would just strongly advise you pull your child out before middle school.

We pulled our daughter from this school because the cliques and bullying were getting horrible (7th grade last year now 8th grade). Teachers do nothing, parents of other kids don't seem to care, and the admin talks a good game but nothing ever changed. The girls were downright mean and vicious to my daughter. There were frequent fights as well courtesy of the same two or three boys. Somehow they never managed to get in serious trouble. The principal suspended one then rescinded it. Also, the education was subpar especially math. At my daughter's new school (Ridgely middle) she is so far behind, her new teachers can't believe it. She was in the upper math class too but now requires additional tutoring just to keep up with the lower math group at Ridgely. Outside of just a few teachers, the rest are disgruntled and don't seem to enjoy working there very much. The best principal they had left after just one year, maybe they are upset about that. He was great, kids absolutely loved him. The new principal never even learned my daughter's name, and it's such a small school you would think she would know all the kids. I barely saw her interacting with anyone when I was up there.I would look into public schools before sending my kids here. Christian values weren't emphasized at all, barely any discipline was enforced. High turnover rate with teachers as well. Avoid at all costs.

SUS was the best decision that I've made for my children. My girls have many friends, have learn a lot and are just so happy. I transferred them from public school and don't regret it at all. It's a very family oriented school and I'm very happy that we will be there for years!

Poor, teachers and administrators don't know or support their students at all. They penalize and punish instead of supporting and uplifting.

Our children have been at St. Ursula's for 4 years. Hands down the best decision we made.

St .Ursula is an excellent school. I have 5 children an all of them have done well in the high schools of their choice. I drove from PA everyday to bring my children to this school because it provides the entire package. Education, Religion, Social and community responsibility. They encourage parent involvement and give tuition breaks to reward participation. It was and awesome experience.

Overall, St Ursula is an ok school for young children (Pre-K to 8th) to succeed in academics and socially. As some of you may know, their Math class isn't so fancy. The teachers rush through things and move on to completely different things the next day. (6th grade Math teacher) Their fundraising activities are nice to attend. There is a Harvest Festival (their most famous), Race for Education, etc. The down side to these activities is that they exclude children. What I mean by this is that if you don't turn a certain amount of money in on time, then you will not be able to participate in these activities. This also goes for many in school activities. Some of the teachers there are very impatient. To be honest I would not send your child to St Ursula School for THESE reasons. Teachers are also melodramatic about many different things; they also give demerits for ridiculous things. If you are looking for a school for your child(ren) to excel in academics and in a social life then I would do a bit more research in this school and others. Choose wisely and good luck!

St. Ursula School is AMAZING!! If you are looking for a superior academic education for your child(ren), rich in Catholic values and traditions, then this is the school for you. St. Ursula School's faculty and staff are very friendly and helpful. The students are polite and respectful, and the parents are very involved with the school. The St. Ursula community is like one big family! St. Ursula School also offers a multi-child discount and has one of the lowest single child tuition rates in the Archdiocese.
