I am a student (11 grade) currently. The school in my experience, very accommodating to physical and learning disabilities. However, mental health and support are sometimes lacking. The school is fairly safe, but there is a big drug problem. Many kids are taking drugs. The classes are not very challenging for advanced students outside of AP. The students who attend are often disrespectful and sometimes disruptive in class. Often times, they go unpunished. One positive is the variety of extracurricular activities that students may participate in. However, the culture in these clubs can be toxic at times. Overall, I would say that the school itself is decent for its size, but the student body is problematic.

Social studies:I had the basketball coach as my teacher for multiple subjects. I was a straight A student, and although I liked him, this quizzes and tests weren’t reflective of the material learned on the PowerPoints. No one ever knew what to expect with his tests/quizzes since most of topics weren’t covered in the notes. He also has pop quizzes. The only reason I aced his class is because I would spend 2.5 hours everyday memorizing enter chapters. This left me incredibly burnt out. I spoke with the high school counselor alongside my parent and she said he can do what he wants and that pop quizzes were okay since they’re done in college. And, after attending 3 separate colleges, I can disprove that point since I’ve never had a pop quiz/surprise quiz in college.Science:I got As in all of them. They were easy and were steered in a good direction.Foreign Language:Only Spanish is offered. After receiving an A in Spanish 1 the high school counselor recommended me to take a remediated version of it instead of moving on to Spanish 2. I dropped from Spanish 2 soon after the start of the semester because it was just too easy for me. Also, colleges don’t recognize the remediated version of Spanish 1. The decision of the counselor makes no sense to me to this day and I wish I would’ve pushed hard against her decision. Rather, when I entered college, I had to pay for two semester of foreign language because of the high school counselor’s decision to not enroll me in Spanish 2.English:I really liked my English courses with the exception of the one offered in combination with MATC. In that course the high school teacher seemed to know nothing. In college I got an A in English 1 and 2, so the subject comes to me easily. But in Pardeeville course I failed my first test due to the teacher’s lack of direction. When I would ask her questions she would always admit she didn’t know the answer. And, when I asked why I got certain questions wrong on the test she admitted to not knowing why.Counselor:She’s nice… but yikes.

Multiple principals within the 5 years. They can't keep good people and bullying is everywhere. Little discipline and lots of drugs.

I was very badly bullied at this school and I had told the counselor several times about it. They said it would change, but no it didn't. Some of the teachers seem incompetent and they favor certain kids. The lunch was overpriced and disgusting too. The whole school was filthy. Most of the teachers were very very nice, but there were others who were not nice at all. I would not recommend this school to anyone. The whole experience was torture in the beginning and it gets worse towards the end. If you go there now, move asap to a different school.

Lots of improvements have been made. Good staff and good administration. They offer a lot of advance courses and even allowed my kid to take multiple classes at MATC and they paid the bill! Big changes over the past few years with a new principal and some new staff. Would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller school with lots of options.

This educational facility is very incompetent. Only a hand of teachers are worth their weight in gold. The bullying of students is unbelievable and nothing happens for discipline. 90% of the teachers do not do their job(especially after Walker) well maybe it is time that some get fired, if their majority of their students are failing then they get fired. Pulled kids from the school.
