As a parent of a 7-year-old attending Fairmeadow, I can't express enough how delighted I am with the quality of education and care provided here. From the moment we stepped into the welcoming atmosphere of the school (sometimes the Principal would be standing in front of the entrance greeting the student and parent(s)), it was evident that this was a place where children thrive. The dedication of the teachers is truly remarkable, as they not only impart knowledge but also foster a genuine love for learning in every child. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to be engaging and age-appropriate, allowing my child to explore various subjects while developing critical thinking skills. Moreover, the emphasis on character development and social-emotional learning ensures that students not only excel academically but also grow into compassionate and empathetic individuals.Beyond academics, the school offers plenty of extracurricular activities, school events, and opportunities for students to discover their passions and talents. Whether it's participating in sports, or engaging in creative arts, there's something for every child to explore and enjoy. The sense of community within the school is palpable, with parents, teachers, and staff working together to create a supportive environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. I couldn't be more grateful for the positive impact this school has had on my child's development and am confident that it's building a solid foundation for my daughter's success. We definitely will enroll our 2 year-old to attend pre-K.

Fairmeadow has been a great school and a stepping stone for two of my kids and 3rd one to follow. Surprised about the academic progress low scores… is data not being reported? Mrs Wong is awesome!

We feel so lucky that our daughter attends Fairmeadow. The teachers, curriculum and families that make up the school are truly top notch. The principal, Mr. Althouse, and the rest of the Fairmeadow staff are incredibly dedicated and responsive. The anti-bullying program is really well inculcated into the students, something that will serve these kids well going into junior high and high school. The school really succeeds in keeping parents informed and bringing them into the fold. At any given event, one will see an army of parents helping out with smiles on their faces. The school's diversity is also very good, which is important in teaching children to appreciate different cultures and viewpoints. I cannot say enough great things about this school, it is truly a gem!

Fantastic school with committed parents, diverse students, strong sense of community. Plenty of "extras" like music including choir and instruments, art, science lab, design studio in the works, educational garden, math olympiad, noon activities & sports, school play, social emotional learning curriculum, etc.

Our experience at Fairmeadow has been very positive. We find the principal to be an honest, caring person who not only takes parents' and children's concerns seriously, but deals with them effectively, with tact and kindness. All of our teachers have been delightful to work with, and the parent community is warm and welcoming too. Fairmeadow is a great place to be!

This is a wonderful school, with engaged parents, a truly diverse student body, and excellent teachers. Science lab is hands-on, and our kids love it. The new facilities are nice, and the on-campus after school program is also very good. It's been a great experience for our family so far.

Fairmeadow is a terrific elementary school. The new principal is well-liked to teachers and students, and very experienced. The teachers are engaged and hard-working. The parents are very involved. And the kids are generally great, or working hard at being great. This school is truly a community effort, and the community seems to recognize it's got a good thing going.

We love this school! Academic wise , it is competent. But the best part is the people in it! The staff is very friendly and I have nothing but good things to say about our principal, Mr. Goddard. He knows all the students and their names and it makes a lot of difference for my kids. I feel good that my kids are educated at this school.
