Angry that this school has high reviews knowing what i know. The experience is bad at this school. My experience and others have shared about poor teachers/ many of them leave…, fighting and racist acts that does not receive the right response from teachers and principals. How are the bad students still in school? Why aren’t they getting disciplined?! Money? This creates a TOXIC school for learning. I know others feel the same. I decided to write this review when I saw the positive reviews and thought others should see a true experience. Be warned!

I am I current student at my last year here and I like to say most teachers here are just trying to help and get our education but there are a few downsides I have read some reviews and seems like this school used to be one of the best but now children here have bad grades and teach each other racism and may even hit you if your not with the good people. I say that if you live in San Fernando so consider enrolling your child here other schools here are not good and have a great rest of your day :D

Bert Corona is the best school I have attended. I just graduated in June of 2015 and I miss it like crazy. All the teachers and staff were very welcoming. Making sure that you are doing fine. Whether it is emotionally or academically. There was never a day where I didn't want to attend school because it was just so fun to be there. They really help me become college ready. I wish I would have attended the Bert Corona High School!!!! Even though I do not attend the high school the teachers still have their arms open to welcome you. GO BERT CORONA!!!! Once a knight always a knight!!! Class of 2015!!!

Great School for the neighborhood. My son attended there for 6th grade in 2012-2013 I couldn't tell you about the help students get if they fall behind. I can say that for children that are proficient they're not challenged as much as they should be. My son got accepted into a magnet program at another middle school and decided to pull him out to see if he can be academically challenged elsewhere. My decision was based on their API test scores CST and school ratings. Bert Corona only has 687 vs 860 at the other school. I do loved the small campus everyone knows each other, and the kids seem to be grounded. I really dont have complaints about the school I really liked it and would have kept my son there if he wasnt accepted to a magnet program. He was really sad having to leave the school. I def recommend this school for those in the area not wanting to put your children in public schools, best in the area.

I went all three years to Bert Corona. As i was scrolling down i see all these other comments, some not so good, but that was a few years back. This school is one of the best. Take it from me, they have great leadership, a good after school program, & they have athletics. They encourage us to do our best. But they need to find a way to accept more kids. -former student in 10th
