The principal at this school is self-righteous and lacks moral grounds

My son has ADHD and this school has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. They are constantly calling me to pick him up. For behavioral issues but not always. At least 2 a week. On one occasion the principal told me “I expect you to be here within the hour!” I travel mid Michigan for work and there are times when I am further away. My son is in the second grade and they’ve pretty much black listed him as being a problem child. That reputation has now followed him to outside the school district. I would never recommend this school.

The superintendent and principal seem nice at first and say they want parent involvement however, that only applies to parents that agree with the agenda. If you as a parent, try to challenge, they will then say you as a parent have no choice for your child. Instead, they will claim to let the child decide however, they conveniently manipulate the child to make the "right" choice. I had to pull my child from this school after kindergarten. Do not expect any better from the school board president as he will either no answer questions or just not respond at all to a parent's concern.

I love the Principal of Central, she really knows her students. The teachers are nice
