My experience at this school is being wonderful. My son loves the school and the teachers.

The school was clean and teaching was good but the teachers were very bias as you can say basically all the teachers have a teachers pet. My child gets all A's and was very dedicated but the teacher would pretrnd as she was not there. As there was a bit bullying tpwards my child and the teachers did nothing just to ignore them my child did not want to got school cause of that

My kiddo had Mrs. Copeland for fifth grade for the 2022 school year. Her classroom was decked out with Harry Potter memorabilia which made it fun for the kids as they learned. She worked hard to help support our kiddo's needs and helped him succeed. He only was able to go to school here for one year due to transferring in from a different school district. I wish he could have continued on here to continue his success, but he moved on to the middle school.

Not good. Teacher was horrible. Principal had many opportunities to correct things. I am sad at the way the year ended and I have little hope for positive change despite feedback.

My kid's 4 th grade teacher, just complete what she is instructed to. Never motivated the students to excel further. Always tells the parent your kid is doing very great. But, you can see their work sheets, has lots of mistakes never corrected, but got a v+. Poor school administration. . They don't know what's the meaning of Parents Teacher association (PTA), they only talk about budget and fund raising. Sent many times emails to Principal. Not sure, they read and delete or just delete without reading, no issues are never addressed.

Basically, there is no form/meeting to communicate common issues. PTA is all about only fund raising. Emails to teachers and principals are never replied.

Very disappointed that I transferred my child to this school. I have no way of knowing how he is doing except by ProgressBook. The problem is that the teacher does not put in grades regularly, so at the end of the first quarter I am now discovering (via a website and not the teacher) that he is failing in many areas. That is a true testimony of the school system letting a child fall through the cracks. And I second the previous comment...if your child is not an academic achiever the school does not want them.

Absolutely horrible! It's funny how they always say, "Communication between the parent and the teacher is important." Yet some of the teachers at this school do not want to communicate with the parent. How am I supposed to ensure that my child gets the wants-to-communicate-openly teacher every year? Why is it that we were not informed about Open House until the day of? How much damage needs to be done to my child's education BEFORE I get contacted by the teacher? And yes, the principal is more concerned with reputation rather than helping students get the education they need.

This school has several amazing teachers and yes teachers that don't put too much effort. I will say that the new principal has taken an active role in trying to change the school to be the best performing school all around. My son just finished 5th grade and I can honestly say that the new principal is making major changes to set high standards academically for all students. I feel that when I had concerns about teachers, she took an active role to remedy the situation. Even though there are teachers that didn't do their best, I can honestly say that there are many that put their heart and soul into their job. I can't wait to see all the great outcomes of this new principal.

My sons teacher in 5th grade allowed him to just sit at his desk and do nothing because he had passable grades on tests. This left my son to be set up for failure at his new school where the teacher would not just let him sit at his desk and do nothing. I cannot believe this has happened to my family. This is the worst school I have ever experienced in my life. My son has suffered psychologically, emotionally, and even physically in academics while attending this school. No one really cares. They just push the kids through the grades and pass the kids, Rotten and Lazy teacher!

Our daughter just started kindergarten this year and had a hard time adapting to all of the change...this school and its faculty have been absolutely amazing! Communication is great, patience and positivity have been just amazing. I cannot say enough good things about this school and the teachers. I do wish they had more extracurricular after school activities...my daughter has now adapted and loves going to school!
