The school has terrible facilities, the classes have no soul or real insight as education to the teachers is merely projecting a ppt onto a screen and making the students copy it onto their notebook. Unnecessary amount of homework and work in general, too many assessments as well leaving my son stressing constantly throughout the week, some teachers are extremely incompetent and only a select few are ideal teachers. On the months in which the ministry arrives to conduct its inspection however it changes completely, activities and everything instead of the usual classes. Overall terrible school, would not recommend.

After my child was in this school for several years, I can fairly say that I constantly hoped for improvement. But the improvement was never an idea. This school is so stuck on its beliefs and teaches children to judge others. My children were coming home losing all the morals we taught them about being open-minded and respecting others regardless of their beliefs. Please don't come here, they undo all the work that parents put into their kids.

I am now graduating high school, but most of my comments about the school are negative. There are so many issues that are overlooked. For example sexism, teachers favor boys so much to the point where female students feel invalidated. The teachers constantly have the attitude that ''boys will be boys'' and that ''girls should be calm and quiet'' etc. This mindset is extremely harmful to students. As well as forcing female students to wear the hijab in such an aggressive way, obviously, it's a Muslim school so you would expect Muslim ideas and practices. But, it's Florida, and I remember the days being so hot and the heat of the sun hitting me right in the face I removed one piece of my hijab (I was not a hijabi) and the teachers started telling us immediately to cover our heads. As well as another time when one of my friend's hijabs was off and the teacher told them to stop showing off her hair. Her hair was in a ponytail while she was just trying to run and have fun, and somehow she was ''showing off''? Honestly, this school ruined my idea of Islam, I remember in 8th grade I was genuinely confused about the rules and how they were enforced. I now have a struggling relationship with the hijab. Although I won't blame it all on the school, I will say most of my problems in my faith have come from this school. And oh my, the Arabic and Quran curriculum was horrible. Many students could not even read Arabic because of the harsh way it was taught and they somehow were expected to do vocabulary tests and write Arabic words on their own. Students could barely read the language, let alone spell Arabic words independently. And when students would tell teachers that they still didn't have the foundation of the tests they were given, the response was ALWAYS blaming the students. Saying that it was the student's fault for not paying attention, etc. Often, when students wouldn't pay attention it would be because they had no idea what was being taught because they COULD NOT even do the basics. So most of the students just ended up giving up and facing the fact that they were either going to have to cheat to pass or to fail. And I can say that cheating is a bad thing, but students should NEVER have to be faced with cheating or failing because they have no help from teachers or non-Arabic-speaking parents. There are so many more issues such as racism and judgment that the school would do to students based on their parents or where they were from. Please dont come here.

This school has absolutely changed our four children's lives in nothing short of amazing ways. Our children have become kind, respectful, intelligent, prayerful, loving, and hard working kids thanks to the guidance of the teachers and administration at Ibn Seena Academy. We are consistently complimented on our children's behavior, intelligence level and work ethic,as well as their academic performance. I would attribute many of these characteristics to their education and life experiences learned at this magnificent school. Ibn Seena Academy is truly a diamond in the rough educational setting, any parent would be lucky to have a child raised and educated in this environment.

My son was at ISA for 6 years I love the school, my son loves the school. The principal does an amazing job with students, parents, staff. It feels like one big family. Students act according to Islam, no bullying and if it occurs the principal is right there. Teachers take an extra step to explain the student if he or she doesn’t understand the subject, encourage students to do even better. Sr.Rehannah constantly is trying to improve even more and more like academically and social life for kids. If I didn’t have to move out of town my son would continue to go to ISA. I recommend this school to everybody.

ISA was like a part of my extended family. The teachers encouraged open communication between themselves and parents. I formed friendships with the teachers and other parents. The Administration staff is astute, friendly, and caring. They know the names of every student. My daughters attended PK-3, PK-4, and Kindergarten up until one week ago. We moved out of state. My daughters learned a lot, retained a lot, and their Arabic studies are exceptional! I was very involved with volunteering and got to know the faculty. I miss all of them terribly and feel like I moved away from my family. ISA focuses on teaching and learning instead of extra-curricular activities. That is something my husband and I valued and why we chose ISA. They love the children as if they are their own. You will feel right at home and be welcomed with open arms. My children would've stayed at ISA, if we hadn't relocated.

Ibn Seena Academy is great school in Orlando. Teachers and staff members are so caring and willing to help with anything they can. Very friendly environment. My children love this school and this is the prove how well Ibn Seena Academy is working with our children. Tuition and other fees are very low and affordable comparing other Islamic schools in Orlando. Overall awesome school, if you have a child choose Ibn Seena Academy and you will not regret it! Thank you for opening and running such a amazing school.

I am in my freshman year of college now, but I remember well when I attended this school for about two months of fifth grade. I absolutely hated it here. The only two things I enjoyed about this school were learning Arabic and the Principal was such a sweet lady. I was bullied here, and was having a lot of difficulties with math, so I couldn't finish my work in class time so I almost never ate lunch because I'd have to catch up on my math work. Only two months I could handle being here, then finally my mom understood and I transferred. This didn't change my views on my religion whatsoever, just a pretty horrible experience. I never forgot how much I hated my time there.

People take their kids to private schools so they can be better For me it was the opposite their level went down Poor teachers , poor principal when it comes to education and how to deal With students And for people who wish to teach Arabic to their kids this is the wrong school Because them selves need to learn Arabic It was very bad experience, all their goal is to make money

Ibn Seena Academy is indeed the leader in Islamic schools across the nation. Commencing from the top, the Principal exercises her professionalism, caring, and downright "tell it as it is" in a respectful way. Principal Rehana Hemalli , may Allah accept from her and continue to grant her success in both worlds, ameen. She is a "people person" in that the staff , parents and especially the students confide in her and on a daily basis, I have known students, staff, and parents , who seek her advice in matters of this world and the Hereafter. I was a parent, staff, and a colleague at this blessed Institute of Knowledge, Ibn Seena Academy. My three children attended Ibn Seena, and they are all productive citizens in society due to the influence and inspirations from the Principal and staff. I pray that my children and I will join this awesome team again in the future, ameen.

Great School, I have an ESE son, and I was surprised how his teachers worked with him patiently and with Love! He improved a lot and his Terra Nova results came very good. Thanks a lot to all the hard work.
