The teachers don't care about students they call them a mess.

the 3rd graders working on context clues and barely have a vocabulary established. the fsa scores as well as any other scores are going to be horrifically bad. they vocabulary should still be being built. not making read books and figure out what words mean. they're bound to not get it right. its a set up for failure, specifically addressing ms. jade bennett class curriculum but states its the florida statewide curriculum. Dept of education and Orlando superintendent needs to quickly correct this. and this lowers their self esteem and confidence their attitudes. its also probably discouraging

This school needs a great deal of improvement and to work on their communication skills. In the last two school years the school has went way down. Come on parents how often do you see the principal Mrs. CARTER-INGE when dropping off or picking up your children? What about school functions? How often is she available to speak with you? Orlo Vista Elementary was a good school until she came in. I am not downing any teacher's so far they have been wonderful with their communication and involvement with my children it's just the principal. The school board needs to open theur eyes and make changes ASAP.

Orlo Vista Elementary is currently a B rated school. We also do not have 1200+ students. The number is closer to 525. I just wanted to clarify some incorrect data posted on this page.

I love this school and staff and have for years. I am just very concerned about the current C rating. What can I do to help?
