Great, neighborhood school, that needs more CP parents to opt in to! Neighborhood teachers that are loving and inclusive! They are a historic school with a beautiful PI playground ( physically impaired) that is one a kind! Students get to be around students with differing abilities! A one of a kind school in the heart of CP a true diverse school! School grades are only a part of the picture my friends, there’s a lot to unpack there-but the teachers are what make this school amazing!

My experience at LSE one horrible experience after another. My kid has gone through two principles at this school. LSE has lost several of the African Americans teacher because of the racist culture at LSE. This school was on the news for teachers ( white teachers) having inappropriate conversations about the black students. I have brought several issues to the table from staff at drop not acknowledging the students as they come on campus. To student calling other students racial slurs. Can go on and onSo grateful this will he our last yr dealing with this school and staff. Highly would NOT recommend!!!!

We love Lake Silver. My kids have made amazing friends. The PTA provides great family events and support to the teachers. Lake Silver Foundation raises money to provide students with a state of the art Mac Lab and STEAM lab which all students get to use to increase their love of learning. The teachers hands down are the best in town. Go Lake Silver Tigers!

My daughter will be starting 1st grade next week! We absolutely loved Kindergarten! Her teacher was so supportive as well as the entire staff. The sense of community is great and the school encourages parent involvement which is awesome! Go Tigers!

We have two kids there since K and they are finally enjoying a brand new campus. Teachers have always been great along with strong administrators and parents. The PTA and Foundation are very active and the school spirit reflects a passion found only in College Park. There are many private options, but no reason to miss out on this charming community asset whose principal was once a student!

We love Lake Silver, teachers, admin, parents etc. This is a great school with the best parent involvement and PTA around. If you live in CP please give this school a chance before private. We need more great parents!

We absolutely love Lake Silver! The teacher, staff and parents really care about the kids, and they've made my children love going to school and learning. Rave reviews for Ms. Pais in kindergarten.

Lake Silver Elementary school is a close knit community of parents teachers, administrative staff and speacial instructors. The kids are getting good lessons from this network and i am confident it is the best elementary school around.

My son just entered kindergarten at Lake Silver. We couldn't be happier. My son had been in private school so we were apprehensive of the move but the school has exceeded our expectations. His teacher is wonderful and our son loves the school. If you live in College Park give this school a chance.

We could not be more happy and lucky to be in the Lake Silver school district. In the heart of College Park, LSE has excellent teachers who truly care for their students. The Principal has a high standards and is continually making improvements to curriculum, programs, adding more quality teachers, and more. We looked at private schools in addition to Lake Silver - but we know we made the right choice! This Math Magnet school and true love for their students is exactly what my children needed! School has great parent involvement too! Go Tigers!
