Le doy una estrella porque no me queda otra opción. Pero esa Escuala solo dan queja de los estudiantes cuando le conviene. Y a mi hijo le hacen cosas y no pasa nada pero que el le haga algo alguien porque se defendió hay si llaman a uno para dar quejas y no están pendientes de los alumnos esa escuela no se merece ni una estrella

I’d give it a No Star Rating. But that isn’t a choice.My kids went there. At first it seemed to be a good school, then Covid hit and you seen everyone’s true colors. Seemed the majority of the school only cared about their image verses the well being of the children.I’ll never step foot nor will my children, into that school again.

Excellent communication between teachers and parents. It needs to create a sense of community an more support to improve FSA scores.

Castle Creek is a wonderful school and what makes it so great is the teachers and administration. I have had both my children in this school for the past four years and it has been great! The staff is very helpful; they listen to parent's concerns and make great strides to address any problems that arise. The principal is very hands on and helpful and truly listens to parent's concerns and suggestions. The staff and teachers have become part of our family and will miss them all now that we are sadly being rezoned to a new school. Go Dragons!

That teachers and administration truly car about the children's education. The school is very diverse and do a great job of challenging thone that are further along and helping those in need. They also do a great job of being "green" as evident through their awards on top of many other awards the school has received.

In response to the post from 10/28...Castle Creek Elementary School is rated an A school based on the state of Florida guidelines. The school received 542 points, 17 points over the A requirement which is 525 points. The school increased 80 points from 2013 to 2014 based on FCAT results. Yes, we are an A school and we are very proud of that title. The staff, students and community worked very hard to achieve that goal.

This is bull rap. The parents are calling it an A school but if you look at their test scores you can see that their D school. If you want your child to gain more knowledge go to one of the neighboring schools!

I've been reading the other parent comments left on this site regarding Castle Creek and I saw that many people mentioned how horrible the administration is. I couldn't be more surprised. My child just moved from a private school and we have been extremely pleased, not only the awesome teacher's involvement, but also administration's involvement in every aspect of the school. My child was immediately assessed and moved to the appropriate program for his level. I get voicemails, emails and texts from the principal at least once or twice a week with updates on what is happening at the school. I get immediate feedback on my child's progress or any issues that come up. The dropping off and picking up of the children is very well thought out and safe. My child is thriving at this school and I am so upset with myself for being so worried about changing him to public school. Completely unnecessary.

This A-rated school has some of the most committed teachers and administrators I've seen since my elementary school 30 some odd years ago. They make every effort to help the students succeed offering tutoring all year after school and special tutoring months before FCAT testing. Having moved from Boston, this school is by far superior in every way. Our daughter went from being an average student to an honor student in one quarter, finally having had a proper evaluation and observation before meeting with us (2 teachers, school psychologist, councilor, and asst principle) and giving her a 504 for her ADHD that enabled her to thrive. Her teachers have also made their classes peanut-free for us, which we were originally told wouldn't happen and that she would have to sit separately from the other kids at lunch, which did not happen. It was a huge lesson in "don't believe everything you hear". Our only real negative would be with the after school program (not part of but at school) and their lack of attentiveness regarding homework (a selling point they make) after repeated requests and bad handling of year-long bullying (also after many requests) despite their claims otherwise

I have never been so welcomed in a school. The entire office staff, including administration have always been friendly and seem to have the kids best interest in mind. I have attended their SAC and PTA meetings with VERY little other parents present.

The teachers and students worked so hard this past year...the school is now rated as an "A" school! THe leadership of Mr. Daubs is awesome. He leads everyone to success.

We are on our third child through this school. Since the administration change last year this school has gone down hill. Teachers are still wonderful, but administrative staff, specifically the principal is horrible. This is obviously in his mind a stepping stone to somewhere else. School has fallen dramatically from an "A" school to a "C" school under the current principals guidance. Good teachers have begun to leave the school due to his changes. This is sad for us as we have had a long standing relationship with this school having had 2 children already move through here. Hopefully the school will replace him and earn back it's old excellent name and reputation.

My husband and I are both well-educated (he has two college degrees and I have a doctorate) so we hold our childrens' education to very high standards. My daughter is now in second grade at Castle Creek (been there since K) and we love it! We have found all of her teachers to be caring yet strict when need be. She is excelling in all subjects based on the Florida percentiles. Unfortunately, this school has some major barriers that hinder their overall test scores and make Castle Creek appear like a poor-performing school (like zoning for students that do not speak ANY English, for example). We feel very blessed to be Castle Creek Dragons!

The teachers at this school seem to be highly invested in the children's progress. The administration is exceedingly business - like and they seem out of place in an elementary school setting. there is a of institutionalizeing at the school. Both the Principal and The AP are from a high school and a middle school and I don't think they realize these are elementary children they are dealing with - it is a pretty sad kind of place from what I have seen. The school also dropped from an A to a C this year. They got one of the "bumps" from the school district so they are technically a B, but they really earned a C. I wonder if it has to do with the new administration since last year was the first year for the new administration. I guess I would say the teachers are great and supportive, but the guys at the top are probably better with older kids and not the little people.

Castle Creek is a great school! My son goes to Castle Creek for 2 years and he loves it. The teachers are great and we love the new principal, he is very helpful. We love the school because the staff treat the kids like kids not like soldiers. My son was at Stone Lakes before and not any single day of school he was happy but went we moved to Castle Creek everything changed, my son got excellent grades and now he is happy and he loves the school. Overall, I think this is a great school.

I am not very impressed with Castle Creek as some of the teachers there are not fair or patient to children of ethnic decent. If your child is of ETHNIC DECENT, please be involved in your child's school life so that there is not a window of opportunity for your child to be maltreated simply because of the color of their skin.

This is a very wonderful school. The staff is very friendly and professional. We moved to Orlando last year and they made me and my children feel very welcome and at home. Mr. Daubs is relatively new and he took charge of that school and turned it into a small little family. My children are no longer going to be there because we moved to another school zone but we will miss it terribly. If we could stay there, trust me we would. Teachers are caring and make learning fun. Keep up the good work.

This is a very clean school, with excellent teachers. My child is receiving a quality education, they encourage kids to read and the AR points are very effective in motivate them. The pick up and drop off of the students is great and safe. My child loved and I am very satisfied with the school and most of the staff!

Sadly we had to leave Castle Creek b/c we moved 5 minuted down the road into a new school zone. Had I known what horrid schools are out there I would have never moved. We miss Castle Creek SOO MUCH and loved all the teachers we came in contact with. There was not one person that wasn't friendly and caring and the school was always kept up and clean and the hallways were cheerful with art and welcoming things that went with the season or the celebration. Now I am at a school that rates better for the FCAT testing but the school stinks and the parents that "run the school" make it horrible to even entre. Thinking about selling our house b/c of this school zone. If you are lucky enough to be at CCE DO NOT move. I miss the office staff as well. They always had a smile and a welcome when I came to help.

I moved to the Orlando area several months ago and my children were zoned for Castle Creek. Beautiful and well kept school. My only beef was with the registrar there. She is very rude and very unprofessional. I left several messages for her but she never returned my calls. I had to leave work and wait in the office until she decided to attend to me. The person working in the office was very kind and tried to attend to my questions and needs, but I really needed to speak to the registrar. After I waited for a while she finally came to the front very rude and looked like she was angry because she had to come and do her job. Sorry but this what Orange County and our tax money pay you for. Other then that experience and hurdle my children started school and are fine and the teachers are terrific. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate this school a 5 all because of this one person.
