I went to this school as a child and my daughter went from k-5. This school goes above and beyond for their students. They kept kids in class during covid, which had a huge impact on their education. They always keep you updated on any events taking place or any concerns. The communication with parents is incredible. They offered lots of clubs, orchestra and band, and their amazing annual play. I’m surprised they don’t have a higher rating. My daughter received a great education and the staff is incredible. My daughter made so many connections from friends, teachers, the YMCA, and security. I’m sad she is moving on.

Teachers are great. Constant events keep things fresh. My kids are learning values as well as curriculum every single day.

This is a very hard-working school between the staff and PTO. They do so much for the kids here. Windom has an undeserved reputation as being a little rough-and-tumble but the kids here are honestly no worse than a lot of other schools around, and in most cases, even better. I just wish the leadership was a little more welcoming. The building is also a bit dark and gloomy compared to other district schools. Apart from that, Windom is about as good as it gets.

My children got transferred to Windom. The teachers go out of the ordinary for the students. All students love the quality of the staff pto and teachers. You can really tell that the teachers and staff want to teach children and love them. Everyone at Windom is a very big family that works together love each other and enjoy what they do. Windom may be under rated but the people rating it have never went to Windom. If you join Windom you to will wonder why they rate it so low. Obviously you to should send your children there if you want them to be in a safe educational department.
