Eggert is a very positive, welcoming school. Mr. Tryon is a great leader who truly loves and cares about his students. This trickles down to the teachers, secretaries, and staff, all of whom are great with the kids. It is a wonderful building with a diverse and well-behaved student body. I highly recommend Eggert to anyone looking for a calm, loving environment for their child.

The special needs environment at this school is absolututly top notch! I can't tell you enough how much the staff and school board have worked together to make sure my son gets what he needs! Of coarse not every child is the same but you as their parent has to be their advocate and push for their needs. If you will do this and be proactive for your child the school will be more than willing to help you every step of the way to have the results you and the school board want for your child - progress. I have had a more than plesant experience working closely with the staff and theropists at Eggert Elementary. The BOCES program is one of the best programs in the country!!
