We’ve had such a positive experience at Almondale Academy since enrolling our son a little over a year ago. The campus itself has a lot of charm. It’s spacious with plenty of outdoor areas for the kids to explore. My son loves coming home with all kinds of treasures he finds, like feathers and rocks, and it’s so nice to see him engaging with nature every day. Having peacocks and chickens wandering around is just one of those unique touches that make Almondale feel special.What really stands out about Almondale is the environment. It’s calm, quiet, and perfect for fostering a love for learning. The small class sizes are a huge advantage — it means the teachers can really focus on each student individually. The attention and care my son has received from his teachers have been exceptional. They’re not only dedicated to his academic growth but also his personal development.When my son first started, he was quite shy and introverted. But since being in this supportive, nurturing environment, he has really opened up. His confidence has grown, and he’s making great progress both socially and academically.Almondale Academy has been a great fit for our family, and I can’t recommend it enough for other families looking for a school where the teachers truly care, the atmosphere encourages learning, and kids can thrive in their own unique ways.

Small class sizes, amazing, supportive, and top notch staff. My son loves going to school and is receiving more than just a great education. We are so blessed to have found this magical gem of a school!

I was a freshman when I enrolled at this school. Initially, I was skeptical, and I honestly feared transferring to any school after my previous experiences. However, to put it simply, this school has left a lasting impression on me. It is simply amazing what this school offers. Almondale Academy's method of operating promotes students to be considerate and well-behaved in a way I have never seen before. They also offer excellent field trip opportunities to their students, guaranteeing both a fun and educational experience. Unlike other schools that claim to care, but do not, this is a school that is genuine, honest, and offers a positive learning environment. The faculty at the school is outstanding and teaches in a manner that encourages students to succeed. Moreover, the principal is devoted to the well-being of each and every student enrolled in the school. The program is individualized to meet the needs of every student, but it also helps them catch up if they are behind in their grade level. It is rare to find a school that treats students like people, rather than machines. As a student here, I learned that I could still consider myself when learning and submitting work. In addition, the experience helped me realize that imperfection is part of life, and that struggling is not a bad thing. If you are a parent, you can be assured that they will treat your child as any other individual, no matter what issues they may be facing. In spite of the difficulty I had grasping certain concepts, or when I got swamped with homework, there was never a single instance when someone on the school staff dehumanized me, or dismissed me as “lazy” or “stupid.” Anyway, in lieu of continuing to elaborate on how wonderful this school is, I would like to simply state that transferring to Almondale Academy has changed my life in a very positive way. As I prepare to graduate, the school is an outstanding place to learn, and I have made some wonderful friends during my time here. For the first time, I was able to experience an enjoyable school life. Truly, I believe that this is an excellent school for kids to attend.

This is an AMAZING school. My 1st grader thrived during what could have been a disaster(after distance learning) she needed and wanted to get back to school. They put on plays, have family events, Mother's Tea, Father's Tee, Science Fair, field trips! You will not be sorry. Financially, it is a great sacrifice and you will not regret placing your child in these loving and caring teacher's hands. The smaller classroom size is paying off! We are hoping to have more PTA meetings and a field trip committee next year. This Secret Garden school offers an outdoor setting unlike any other.

We love Almondale. My son has been there for a bit over a year now. He had a really hard time in a traditional school setting. He was extremely anxious and unhappy every day at his previous school. He loves going to school now. On weekends and holidays he counts the days until he can return to school. They teach in an untraditional way so if a more traditional education is what you're looking for then it might not be the place for you. But if you want a school that will encourage your child in whatever they're interested in and help them feel included, confident and part of a wonderful community of kind children and teachers, then it's a great place for that. The teachers care deeply about the kids and have the time and opportunity to be really creative with their lessons. We are so happy we found the school.

Our family loves Almondale Academy! It's a place where kids learn in a calm, engaging and peaceful environment. Cliques and bullying are not tolerated--it is an inclusive and safe environment. The teachers are passionate educators who lead and mentor their students. The curriculum is well-rounded and challenging. My son is excited and loves to get up in the morning to go each day. We highly recommend.

This school is poorly ran, they don't seem to know what they are doing, the teachers are not certified, and they don't have much of a curriculum. It's a shame! It is such a quaint little school and a lovely atmosphere, the education just wasn't there.

Not sure why there are only 4 stars... every review comments on the excellence of the school, grounds and staff. If there was ever anything negative to report, that went down the road with the teachers who weren't asked to return. This is an amazing place for not only the students, but their parents. You know they are receiving an amazing education, you know they are safe on the quaint farm grounds and you know this is one of the best experiences they will have in their lifetime. The well rounded curriculum is always at the forefront. Music, Art, P.E., Latin, and Virtues are just some of the new classes now being offered. The adoring faces of the children when the owners are on the grounds speak for themselves. Parents are encouraged to participate in educational field trips.

Excellent school. The teacher is very knowledgeable and is able to give a lot of personal help to each student. The curriculum that I was was great and I could tell she really cares about her students. My only concern is lack of peer models for my daughters age. There were 3 3rd graders, a 4th grader, and a kindergartener with no promise as to how many 1st graders there will be next year. This will be a very hard decision for us as parents to make.

The individualized attention each student gets makes a huge difference to the students. The classrooms provide an atmosphere that helps promote learning and respect among the students. Just two weeks into this current school year I can already tell this is going to be quite an amazing year for all of the children!

I'm so glad we found this school! This is such great place! The staff really cares about the kids and you can tell. The children are all very comfortable with their classmates and the teachers/staff. The campus grounds are filled with all sorts of fun as well as an occasional peacock (which are friendly and used to the kids). I know that our family will be here for quite some time! If you're looking for a great school with small classes and quality teachers this is the place!

This is an absolutely amazing school! They are all about the students. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to make sure each and every child is working at or above their grade level. My child entered this school a shy little person and is now VERY confident. They focus on each individual child, which allows the children to learn and grow at the pace they should. Not every child learns the same way or at the same pace. At Almondale, they make sure every child flourishes! The teachers, staff and the owners are the most wonderful group of people I've ever had the opportunity to know! I'm so glad we found this hidden gem!!! The best part....they have alot of fun too! With fun in the classroom (which promotes learning) to educational field trips, this school has everything your child needs! My child loves going to school now!

My child has been attending this school now for a couple of months. The owners and staff of this school are remarkable. They care enough to ensure each child receives the utmost quality care and education. They provide a safe and enjoyable environment that allows each child to grow at their pace, while building their self-confidence. My child has never been happier. You know this when your child looks forward to school!
