Chaffey High School is an outstanding school, and in my opinion, one of the best high schools in the area. The school leadership, under Mrs. Martinez, is outstanding with administrators who truly care about the safety of students and preparing them for college and careers. The Saturday School program offers many additional chances for students to get additional academic support. Chaffey programs, such as the arts, academic decathlon, and the NJROTC are outstanding and give students the chance to succeed outside of the classroom.

I just moved to Ontario was very impressed with the historical building Chaffey HS has but I enrolled and "un enrolled" my son out of there all in the same day! My son said he saw drug deals going on in the bathroom! And when I unenrolled him on the same day he told the admin asst reply was "I don't blame you". Wow so sad that such a beauty building in a great location is so poorly kept inside filled with graffiti. The counselor was a horrible experience as well. She said my son had completed his math requirements to graduate HS so she assigned him to help out in a "special needs class". Wow if it were her child Im sure she would have him in AP Math courses, like my child deserved. I hope this city turns this of hard knocks around for the better of the community.

I attended Chaffey High School from 1978 to 1982. Had great memories at Chaffey. I know times have changed but according to the ratings Chaffey continues to be a great High School. John Rosier class of 1982.
