Our son has been going to Rose Hill for 5-years. We absolutely love this school. The teachers and staff are some of the warmest, kindest people I have ever met. There is great diversity at this school both in terms of ethnicity, and in terms of socioeconomic background. Academically, our son has thrived at Rose Hill, but more importantly, he has learned how to interact with kindness and compassion to people of any background. My only complaint about Rose Hill is that we have to leave it.

We love the new leadership here (2020/21 school year). Our child’s teachers as well as other staff members respect our child’s pronouns (she/they) and are extremely communicative. Whenever we have a question or concern, we receive communication and explanation within 24 hours. The school, at least in our very new experience, is diverse, compassionate, and equitable (we love seeing BLM and rainbow flags in the classrooms). Not to discount any of the other parents’ negative reviews, but I do think the new leadership at this school has transformed it.

I thought it was going to be a better experience. Once again grown adults can not handle the words that come out of my mouth so they take it out on my 8 yr old son. Very sad. Rating for experience at this school and ops as whole. Zero Amigo!!!!

My daughter went to this school in 2017 and we had a horrible experience. I would like to first state that we are African American and my daughter experienced unfair treatment from her teacher while attending RoseHill Elementary. I first started to notice that something was not right when the teacher would call me everyday and complain that my child would have crying fits when she was unable to get her work finished. I started to randomly go to the school and check on my daughter to see if I could witness her behavior or at least see why she was having crying fits. I even called a meeting with counselors and the principal there to see if we could come together and work on what issues my daughter was having. We sat down and made a plan that would make work in class easier for her but the issues still ensued. Her teacher started sending her to the PAC room for crying and that is when I knew there was something more going on. The last straw was when my daughter came home and said that everyone in her class got a gumball at the end of the day except for her and another African-American student. My heart broke and I immediately began the process of transferring her to another school. I followed up with a report on the specific first grade teacher to the TAC. The school she attends now has 50 percent white and 50 percent minority students and teachers. I am happy to report we did not experience any of the same issues as we did at Rose Hill. This was a very heartbreaking experience for my child and I and I am glad I went with my gut feeling as a mother.

A dog drinks out of the water fountains and claim it's a service dog and it goes into the lunchroom and eats off people's trays. They handle their behavior Department the worst I've ever seen. The only thing that's amazing are their behavior teachers

My son attends Rose Hill (4th grade)and I am extremely happy with the school! The principal(Melissa Orlando),the teachers, support staff and parents work together and create such a great, positive environment for the kids. The challenge and resource programs continue to meet the needs of our 'atypical' students seamlessly. Our kids are offered many opportunities outside of academics- choir, instrumental music, fitness club, junior great books, art and language lessons, etc. There are ALWAYS parents at the school volunteering their time. The PTO continues to find ways to help with all the many 'extras' a grat school needs! My son started at another school in Omaha before we moved to Country Club, so I have an idea what's out there-Rose Hill Rocks!
