While picking up my grandchildren, a teacher/safety officer told me NOT to buckle my child's car seat b/c it would hold up traffic. You do realize that movement of a vehicle w/o a child properly restrained is ILLEGAL.

This is an excellent school. The principal is top notch and treats children and parents with respect and kindness. The great leadership trickles down to the teachers, who seem to really care about my children and enjoy teaching. High standards for learning. Great differentiated instruction. Welcoming and involved PTO, open to new ideas and always striving to improve our children's education. Great sense of community. This school really sets the standard for what a great public education should be.

I am a current student teacher at Rohwer, and having children who attend an excellent private school, I am astonished how amazing this public school is. These teachers are dedicated to each individual child. The teachers and administration consistently evaluate and track the progress of each child and take the necessary steps to help students grow, and it is successful because the growth is significant. They have such wonderful programs and committed staff! Remarkable school. Millard is a remarkable district and Rohwer is superb!

I have moved from Chicago. Schools here are really good. This one in particular has great teachers, great envoirnment and perfect facilities. Extreemly happy.

Great learning environment. Quality teachers who care about the kids and their development. Can't say enough about my child's growth and development while at Rohwer!
