My experience at Beadle Middle School is something I would NEVER want to repeat. While I must give kudos to the school for choosing their teachers, as I never had a BAD teacher at Beadle, the only thing else that is decent is their inclusivity of ACP students. The kids are by far some of the meanest people I've ever met. They are unable to control themselves, complain all the time, and are just downright awful people. From them bullying me and my friends, I can confidently say that if you're going to send your kid to Beadle, don't. The amount of slurs and discriminatory words is appalling. Please don't make your kid go to this school. I still have small amounts of trauma from bullying.

My experience at Beadle Middle School was not amazing. I want to make it very clear, however, that the teachers are amazing at the time of this review. The teachers provided me with a positive place to go to when things were down. The counselors are also pretty good. The ACP and HAL students alike all get good educations. This school is awesome at that. Then we get to the students. There are an insane amount of students at this school who provided me with a negative learning environment. Almost every night I came home,.I had something to complain about. This school needs to do more about their student community at the time of this review. The students gave me the middle school trauma that I experienced. That said, it is still a great school when you leave out that one major problem. I am sure that one day this school will be able to dull this problem at least enough to make the days tolerable for the good kids. There is one more thing I would like to bring to attention. This school needs to work on their punishment policies. When you don't turn your homework in on time for any reason, you are sent to a thing they call "Homework Lab." This is basically a 1 hour detention for not doing homework, but they don't outright tell you it's a punishment. They merely say they are "helping you get your homework done." This needs to be dealt with. Homework Lab is a fear tactic to keep kids in line, and it's not okay. Be ready for it if you go here. So, all in all, this is what I would say: Great school, mean students, lots of room for improvement.

I went to this school for 3 years and hated it. most the kids there are rude and spoiled. the teachers don't care about your except some of them. some of the teachers are nice but most of the ones i have had were bad. plus I got homework from every class each night. if you are bullied the school does nothing. and the counseling is sucky. I'm traumatized from middle school. oh yeah the new homework lab thing sucked and I'm glad I left to high school that year. homework lab is where you stay after school and do homework and YOUR FORCED TO GO or you get detention or suspended. stupidest thing ever the reason why the good reviews are form 3 years ago is because none of this existed until 2021 and it should have stayed that way.

I have had kids in this school for 5 years now. They love it, and we moved to stay within this schools district when millard changed the boundary lines.

It has been pretty good and hasn’t negatively affected me.

My son just completed three years at Beadle Middle school. My review is based solely on the HAL program, Millard Public School's name for the gifted program. The HAL program at BMS was disappointing to say the least. HAL at BMS is basically "field trips for smart kids." The field trips are the same almost every year. There was little to no differentiation within the classroom as was promised. BMS was so short on resources, the HAL teacher was often utilized for reading intervention programs. If you have a child that is in a gifted program, I highly suggest researching other middle schools within the Omaha/Elkhorn communities and doing a within district or district transfer.

I am currently a student at Beadle. As far as I'm concerned, Beadle is a great place to learn and grow. I am in athletics at school, but also participate in several clubs. Our athletic programs focus mainly on the safe respectful responsible things. If you don't have good grades, you simply don't play. In clubs it's all about having fun and making new friends. Speaking from experience, Beadle is an awesome place to be. It is currently in its eleventh year, and is getting bigger and better each time a new class walks through the door. I think it is the best middle school in the district, if not the state.

I also came from another state and was sorely disappointed with this school. They do not appropriately address bullying, the administration is apathetic and uneducated, and many of the teachers are subpar. These were the worst three years of my child's life and we cringe when we think back to those days. If I could do it all over again, I definitely would have sent my kid to private school.
