    My son is currently a sophomore and LOVES his school. Nordhoff has excellent, caring teachers who go above and beyond, particularly in his AP and Honors classes. Nordhoff has fostered a truly caring and supportive environment between students. The school offers areas of interest for everyone and their Arts programs-- music, drama, dance etc are second to none! We are absolutely thrilled with Nordhoff High School!

    I really don't like this school. There are way too many students in the classes and if you fall behind you have to fail before they will consider moving you out the class "if there is room in another" or you just get an "F". The STAR football players pass all their classes no matter what and they get away with anything that the rest of us would be suspended for, kinda weird. A lot of favoritism in that area. There are some teachers that really do care and spend extra time with struggling students. Other teachers are too busy with their favorites or sports team duties to care. This school is all about winning and if you most kids don't get any playing time.. Sad really. I'd get better people skills being a home schooled kid locked in a basement than trying to be on a sports team at this school. Pathetic!

    EXCELLENT leadership from both past and present Principals. Great office staff. Very good teachers. AWESOME football team, sports, theater and music. Despite many cutbacks, this school is thriving.

    Nordhoff High School is a wonderful school. My daughter thoroughly enjoys going there. It has a wonderful music department and theater department. They filmed the movie "Easy A" there. Nordhoff High School rocks!
