Monica Ros school is the most amazing school! It is such a nurturing and loving environment to be in. It has been a real blessing finding this school for our children.

Monica Ros is my favorite school in the world. As an alum of the school I gained a solid love of learning as well as making lifetime friends. My children currently attend the school and fuss everytime we have a school vacation that it too long.... The teachers and parents make up a solid community and the children thrive in the semi-outdoor school.

Monica Ros is an amazing school. I feel very lucky that my children have grown up in the warm, engaging, inspiring cocoon of Monica Ros. The director is amazing, the teachers are the very best and every single adult on the campus knows my child's name. It is like being with family as you walk about the campus. The strong focus on academics and the arts is a wonderful balance. The most important things my children have learned are how to be good friends and good citizens.

Monica Ros is a wonderful school! Not only are the teachers extremely dedicated, but they also provide superb teaching. They strike the right balance between child development, fun and education. The School Director and all the staff are caring and engaged. Very professional and dedicated.

A wonderful nurturing environment that has nurtured my child from age 3 to age 9. The teacher student ratio allows for individual attention and extra opportunities for the children who are ahead of the class or need extra help. From the Director to the after school teachers I always feel like my child is in good hands in a family like atmosphere. From the moment I walked on the campus I felt confident that the school would provide a superb foundation and encourage self confidence for every child enrolled. I feel this school is worth every penny and I will always miss our beginning years at Monica Ros School.

Monica Ros School is a dynamic, caring community, from the teachers to the parents to the children to the School's director. My children have attended since pre-school, and we are grateful for the educational foundation they have and the love of learning they have fostered. The school's focus on the arts makes it particularly special; every year in every class there is a play; poetry night; a talent show; singing performances; arts month. These opportunities are disappearing in other schools across the county, and we are so happy that our two children are exposed to all these facets of art almost daily alongside of the consistent academic learning they are doing.

At Monica Ros School, kids learn to love themselves and to tap into their full potential as smart, inquisitive, loving, creative, responsible friends and human beings. The school offers an ambitious and challenging academic curriculum with an impressive artistic program. Director Susan Hardenbergh and her wonderful staff expect a lot from each other and from the students while making it so much fun. The parent body is actively engaged and contributing to the strong sense of community. As a current parent, I see how my three daughters thrive at school and enjoy every day of learning. I wish more kids would have the good fortune to go to Monica Ros School.

Our child started Monica Ros for Kindergarten and it is one of the best decisions we could have ever made from an educational perspective. Every time I pick her up from school she is begging to stay just a little while longer. She adores her school, the activities, the friends and especially her teachers Ms. Krout and Ms. Fiore. The principle is incredibly thoughtful and fully engaged every step of the way. Their focus on the PK-3 curriculum has been a formula for success in terms of establishing a strong foundation for learning that teachers from high schools like Oak Grove and Ojai Valley have told me makes a clear difference. If I were forced to make one critique it would be the lack of ethnic/cultural diversity but I wouldn't count it as a negative, but sometimes I wonder how it might be affecting the one African-American child that does attend. My guess, having met her, is she's doing just fine.

Not only is Monica Ros School the best place for your children, it's the best place to work. A nurturing environtment for parents and teachers as well as students. Of course I'm biased, I started working here when my oldest was beginning kidnergarten in 1988. Now that she is 28 years old, and looking to start a family herself, I can't wait for the opportunity of seeing my grandchild jumping rope or riding the same bikes my daughter rode. We are much more then bikes & rope jumping, Monica Ros focuses on the whole child, the whole family for that matter. Drop by anytime and see for yourself!

This is the best school *ever*, and my son went to several before we found MonicaRos. They are not just a school, but more like a family. The environment is like never-never land where the children are encouraged to grow and learn with wonder and joy. There is nothing 'daycare'ish about MonicaRos. Your child will beg to be allowed to stay and play more each day. If you can, send your child there. You won't be sorry.
