TOIS is a well-run school with plenty of opportunities for student and parent involvement. I feel that the teachers are supportive and provide a safe and welcoming environment for all. Administration is communicative and supportive in attending student activities. As far as public schools go, I couldn't ask for much more. Middle school can be a weird and challenging age for students, but I feel that my child is thriving here thanks to teachers and administration.

I've had nothing but constant issues with staff and administration. Teachers are not there for the children, only the benefits of being teachers. My daughter cries every day when she comes home. In 4 years, we've had one great teacher, 3 miserable teachers who literally yell all day and are mean, and the administration really couldn't care less about the children. They all speak down to the children and belittle them. It's rated low for a reason and I have no idea how it's even rated a 4 at this point.

Overall, I would rate this school 1/10 because of the reasons I have mentioned above.

great school... they make every effort to resolve any issue and make learning fun for the kids.. awesome staff and teachers.

The teaching staff is wonderful and attentive. The administration on the other hand needs sensitivity training when dealing with issues such as bullying and disabilities.

Administration does not listen to the voices of students and parents, only that of staff members.
