What do parents look for when searching for a "home-away from home" for their children, their legacy, their future. In today's fast paced society the little things get overlooked. As a new parent I know all of these thoughts went through my head as I searched for a conduit of learning, mannerism, and etiquette for my then 2 year old. After looking around the Northshore area me and my wife settled on Children's Learning Path because of two reasons; (1) the head director; (2) the teachers. No one comes into the business of teaching and molding young minds to get rich, they do it because it's their passion, hell I know they have much more patience than the regular human being, thats for sure. This is the feeling I got when I first interacted with Kanchan Rai, the director, Mrs. Anna, and Mrs. Dawud. They made school feel like home-away from home, I credit them with my child's exceptional ability to say thank you, please, and most especially to interact with other children his age. The education process is superb as it uses the time tested methods of Maria Montessori herself. Methods that create an environment of learning through our most fundamental ability, which is to learn through discovery. Give your child the best, bring them to Children's Learning Path.

Our kids went to this school for 2yrs but we left after repeated negative interactions with the Administor and what we viewed to be unsatisfactory staffing hires. Any question asked about basic school environment (food, safety, teacher qualification) was met with paranoia, hostility and eventually instructions to the staff to not speak to the parents. Huge red flag. There was a lot of teacher turnover in one of the rooms this year and with each teachers coming/going there was zero notice given. I only learned of new teachers when kids started talking about it, and one time I after inquiring who that person was walking in the parking lot. The complete lack of communication is unprofessional, but I am more troubled by the hostility I faced when confronting the Administor about the need to better communicate important news like this. Other incidents occurred which caused us to give the school 1 month's notice that our kids would not be returning. The very next day during am drop off, the Administror tells us to take our children home immediately and to not return - totally unprofessional, rude and indicative of the environment. Caring, questioning parents are not welcome.
